  1. I haven't seen anything to suggest he's a bargain/good signing. Think the Redcar fans will be glad he hasn't returned to their side. On another note I see most are talking about young Carr at reserve but really? The lad is nowhere near ready for the rigours of PL racing
  2. Kus very poor signing for me tbh, no one remember the night he guested and he let the bandits down big time? Far too inconsistent, is more hot n cold than a Katy Perry song and really isn't the kind of signing that makes me feel excited about the new season. Don't think he's anyway near as good as any of the other Czechs we've had at Berwick. The signing of Kevin Doolan is to my mind only slightly better, he ain't going to drop his average much but he ain't going to put 1-1.5 pts on it. What's happened to all the exciting riders we've been used to getting for the last 4/5 years? Disappointed.
  3. It's not as bad as reading your sarcastic, antagonistic, drivel you seem to post, poking fun about every facet of Berwick Speedway. Don't think you've ever claimed to be a Berwick supporter rather a speedway fan but you do seem to take great pleasure in mocking the club on here.
  4. Think the weather will be the winner all weekend. Rebels to win overall
  5. Not all of us do the above, in fact it seems there are a few on here that are picking faults wholesale because they're not capable of doing anything else
  6. We need the Patches O'hoolahan theory Ed! 'You gotta get mad, You gotta get angry!'
  7. Anyone who witnessed his performance at Redcar would've seen absolute class riding in tricky conditions and I would say thanks very much Edward for stepping in and all the best for the future
  8. That's great news. The dilemma is going to be though does the promotion bring him back and stick with Eddie or is the decision going to be made for them?..
  9. Another solid performance from Matty again yesterday Ed, from Thursday at Redcar where he got stuck in when the track conditions were iffy, Saturdays paid max and then yesterday another brilliant performance when we needed it most but he wasn't the only one yesterday top 4 were all great
  10. Would be better to have Starke take his normal reserve spot plus use the guest for Nicki and use Liam as No.8?
  11. Weather forecast I've got Paul is for rain the whole day in Glasgow. After losing Nicki last night to an arm injury and with limited choices of guests Berwick might not too upset at this one being potentially off but let's hope not. Kinda of looking forward to seeing Lawson round Ashfield in Berwick colours
  12. Was really pleased for Matty tonight Ed, superb team man who always chips away with his scoring and it finally paid off for him tonight. Hope Nicki and Kozza are fighting fit soon
  13. If the signing of a Danish World Cup star goes through at Peterborough then Ryan Fisher will be looking for a team spot it would appear
  14. How is r/r allowed for a rider that hasn't ridden for your team?
  15. Eurasia? Are they still on the go? ......ill get me coat
  16. Over and above what goes on out on track, the promotion have done everything that's been asked to improve the product
  17. Think if that's what he's saying and how he's feeling the best thing he could is step aside and let someone else do it N.b Just read these comments and it would seem that Alex is putting his point across in a constructive manner to which he is getting the same constructive feedback from the fans
  18. Currently results wise no they're not better but 2005 was a very exceptional season. The Saturday night experience at Berwick has improved tenfold. Also the country was in a far better financial position back then, people had more disposable income then.
  19. Yes. From the track improvements to the signing of top quality riders ie Ashworth, Alden, Complin. To staging FIM meetings. The promotional team have improved lots of aspects in a short few years.
  20. First of all Well Done Workington, deserved victory last night. Lawson, Harrison, Tabaka and to a lesser extent Howarth all rode superbly. Best I've ever seen Richard Lawson ride, Elite League racing experience showing with some very determined 1st bends. Harrison showing his years of experience in heat 15 to seal the win for Workington. As for Berwick, Kozza take a bow, was tremendous last night, backed up by David and Matty. I've yet to be convinced about the home form of Robin and Alex lack of form has been well documented. I think Nicki should've been in place of Alex in heat14 and couldn't understand the decision at the time. Came away from last nights meeting feeling massively dejected at yet another home defeat despite the racing being better. Yes plenty to be happy about at Berwick Speedway, we've never had things so good but for me the most important factor is the racing and a home win
  21. Like the rest of the Bandits, struggling to get out the gate. Alden was different class last night. Berwick were taught a gating lesson from Redcar who deserved their win with their top 6 all contributing Mickey Dyer being their topman. Some battling efforts from Berwick but it was on this occasion too much to do on a track that was not ideal for passing. 8pts from 2 heat leaders, must do better
  22. The Bandits willhave some more representation at Bydgoszcz
  23. Bt vision customers will only be able to get Eurosport if they have BT infinity because Eurosport will be streamed via the net on Vision
