Come on Lewy, the amount of time you spend putting comments on their threads just come out the closet and admit you have a soft spot for Scunny. Baldyman, I think you are right.

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?

Although I do not go, I understand the Banger Racing is well attended. Perhaps a bigger clubhouse may attract more fans of that sport. -

Arse, judging by your previous posts, he will be sitting next to you. Just remember to get to the exam in good time, and do not forget to bring a crayon. -

Scunny let him go because he has given up speedway for a year to concentrate on his studies at home. -

Fair point Bash, but Rob is improving the facilities slowly and within the clubs means. The start/finish seating is quite recent and where you were standing was added 2 or 3 years ago. I am sure Rob would love to have an all singing, all dancing stadium, but not at the expense of going bust. At least you were near the cafe!

A win and a draw against one of the supposed top teams by one of the favourites for the wooden spoon, got to be happy with our unbeaten start to the campaign. Enjoyed the afternoon, some good close racing and good to Lewis Kerr on fine form after his accident. I think both teams may have riders still a bit rusty and struggling with set ups. On Thursday Scunny benefited, today Ippo did and with a bit more luck would have won.

Great start to the season and really pleased for the team and Rob. Hopefully the home form can carry on from the back end of last season and we can make a lot of 'expert tipsters' look very silly. -

I think it will be whoever can steer clear of injuries and unearth a trump reverse. Arr spell checker, I meant reserve. -

But will defend a rider that deliberately knocks another off after a race, how bizarre. -

I would haveTheo as the first name down for the team. Very surprised others feel different, or is he confirmed elsewhere. -
Basically my route (for anyone who cares) is: back roads of Oxfordshire going through Islip and outskirts of Bicester (therefore avoiding the A40 roadworks, A34 and M40), A43, A5 (runs parallel to M1, which has roadworks from 15A to 19), onto the M1 briefly from junctions 20 to 21A, A46 (by the time I reach the outskirts of Lincoln their rush hour is almost over), A15, and then past the steel works and Eddie Wrights Rob, Try coming off the M40 at Jct 12, Gaydon and follow the signs to the Car Heritage Museum. Continue on that road and after about 5 mins pick up the signs to Leicester (Fosse Way). Keep on this road and it will bring you out on the A5 about 5 mins from Jct 1 M69. From there pick up the M1 at Jct 20, etc. I have tried every route in the past 4 years, and this seems the best and least stressful. Also, if you look on the map there is a road that runs parallel with the A15 straight to Scunny, you come out opposite the Steel works, usually quicker.

Cardiff Advice

Try the Cardiff University accommodation. All the students have left for the summer and they rent rooms out in the halls. All en-suite, free parking and 5 mins walk to the Castle, pubs and Staduim for £27 a night. Look on the web site for details.
