  1. You may be riight about Brady but IF & its. A big If CH hits form there could be a 5 rider challenge for the No 1 spot, yes Woyrina may be one of them although the least least likey I admit!
  2. I have seen nothing about Premiership speedway coverage for 2018. I presume GPs are still on aggenda with BT Sports. Anyone have any news please?
  3. Yes you certainly were banned, and yes I do know you, not personally but I see you every home match at Poole If you are referring to the "new" forum, if Edwards22 isn't you, then someone is doing a very good impersonation of you- same expressions, same opinions.
  4. TBH, SS can be a bit controversial but a lot of his posts are "tongue in cheek", whereas very few posters take Starman seriously, certainly not many Poole fans do. He was banned from the the now defunct Forum, and now is posting on the "new" forum under another name posing as a female-no comment!!!
  5. Think you have hit the nail on the head. Continuity is important although fill in meetings aren't popular. I know Bournemouth Buccaneers wasn't well attended but it did provide the additional meetings, BV & KL manage to run Junior sides. If there are 12 clubs in the Premier next season, if there is one, that gives 22 home fixtures + KO Cup if continued. If season started 1st April & ended 30 Sept, I think that covers 30 weeks, still 8 weeks short of weekly racing. I don't know a solution but weekly racing worked OK in the 70's , 80's & 90's. Fixed night racing, e.g. Mon & Thurs may attract some of the top riders back, especially as rumours are some of the Swedish clubs have struggled again this season.
  6. Steve, Matt would have done the same if boot was on the other foot. Now they have 2 ex Poole riders who have an axe to wield. If track is wet I might have to adopt your angle and predict an away win. Hope to see you later
  7. Barry I spoke to Roy early and he said track was very slippery but weather very windy so will depend on frequency, length & intensity of showers. Matt will try & get it on & with TV it will be late call I imagine. Usually wet tracks favour away team. I agree about Doyle but after last year not so sure he will prejudice his WC if wet & heavy. My guess is that it will be off. Presume Wed. reserve date?
  8. My error-I only saw Swindon one. Normally all previews on one posting!!!!
  9. What a joke British speedway has become. Vital matches at KL double header but no preview on BSPA site. Nothing on Poole website or Bournemouth Echo ( not their Fault) about Poole's team or Holder's health following reports he was "sick & dizzy" last night. No wonder fans are falling by the wayside. See my post-its a joke!!!!
  10. Nothing on Poole website re line-up or Jack's health. Gives impressin of loss of interest
  11. Webfsite doesnt list riding order to stop fans printing own scoresheets
  12. Shanes has improved a lot in the last month and Somerset is a big wide track so I will have to disagree
  13. They will miss Shanes even more on the Somerset track.
  14. XCW has rain until 16:00. 50:50 chance of being on I imagine
  15. If Poole win at home against BV & KL & win away at KL, it will be difficult for RH to catch them
