I thought Len Silvers PR was shocking, but this lot aren't any better. Nothing on social media at all since the end of the season directly from the club. The Rockets line up came via the local rag

We're not dealing with speedway people here. It's my belief they had no idea what they were getting into when they bought the club. Slowly but surely the people that ran the place have either left or been dispensed with. I'm a natural pessimist at the best of times, but the goings on in the last few months have left me even more concerned as to where the club is going.

Here we go again

I'm tending to side more with Cliff than the previous two posts. I think Rye fans were expecting a Glasgow type rejuvenation at Rye House, but there have been problems. There are still problems as I'm led to believe the planned building work has has to be put on hold due to planning issues. The proposed Robert Lambert signing went belly up with one of the best prospects we've had in years let go to our near rivals. What a mess!

There's no "maybe" about it!!

I wouldn't say Lykke/Morley was a weak reserve pairing
-
I'm looking forward to seeing this transformation

Compared to the rest of the Premier League I'd say they was throwing money at it. Can you tell me what these investments are? I've not really been into my speedway as usual recently with the new baby at home taking up loads of time.
-
If you can't turn the tide now they're throwing money at it you never will
-
That'd be funny if Glasgow had a trophy cabinet full of silverware and Edinburgh were the near neighbours living in their shadow
-
Oh blimey, I didn't know. Hope he's up and well soon. Lovely guy
-
I think Barney must be basing that on Tungates OTA performances. Apart from those two occasions he was mostly average. If he was my teams number one I'd be seriously concerned.
-
Think again

Not only the extra quid for a seat, but this secure parking/stadium parking nonsense. Why charge an extra £2 to park within the stadium compound? This is typical car dealer behaviour. Offer a base product, then add extras (car mats, colour coded bumpers etc..) to bump the price up.
-
Wow! Global warming has hit Sussex hard. Last time I was at Arlington it was 6 miles from the coast
-
Laughing at some Glasgow fans attempting to justify these price hikes. Doubt many of them feel any different from the rest of us. A complete and utter piss take.
-
I'd be very surprised if Rob Branford is back with the Raiders after the way he's been treated (if what's been said on other threads has any substance). The Raiders will be looking for a new number one
-
What with the balls up with Robert Lambert and NBJ, it's not been the most auspicious start for the fledgling Rye promotion. Hope Rob gets a team spot sooner rather than later.
-
Perhaps riders are wary of committing to Somerset in case they're dumped a few weeks before the season starts when some other guy becomes available
-
Newport used to charge 50p to sit in the grandstand. Pretty sure they ditched that idea a couple of years before they closed down. Last time I was at Kings Lynn (in their PL days) a large metal stand was assembled next to the pits on the home straight with a £1 charge to sit on. Don't recall many taking that option up.
-
Couldn't possibly comment until I know exactly what happened
-
The ice cream sellers need to recoup their money somehow
-
That's a hefty price hike. The extra quid to sit in the stand is a mickey take
-
It was an awful meeting. I missed the only decent race

Indeed, and the best burgers at any speedway track
