  1. Any Rye or Glasgow fan will tell you his gating is shocking. This is not an isolated incident. He's losing a couple of points off his average because of it. It's something he's attempted to address, without any change in performance.
  2. You're a Scunny fan on a Rye/Peterborough thread. Pot-kettle-black
  3. He probably backed himself to beat him into the first turn. If he hadn't been squeezed up right against the fence exiting the second turn perhaps... who knows. Ultimately we lost because they had a reserve that can beat heat leaders and second strings consistently.
  4. It's easy to be confused at this time of night, especially when you've had your bedtime cocoa and began to wind down
  5. Let's face it, Kasper just can't gate and the evidence suggests he never will. At a track like Rye he's always gonna struggle. Edward Kennett was superb. In heat 1 he was squeezed up to the fence by Ostergaard and had to shut off. I doubt you'll see a better couple of races than heats 10 & 13 at Rye this year
  6. Once MPT gets going and Peterborough end their love affair with Simon Lambert they have the makings of a top 3 side. I think we did pretty well to keep the score so close tonight.
  7. Karger can't be dropped until he's reached his assessed 5 point average, and let's face it, that ain't happening. The rider in greatest danger is Kasper Lykke.
  8. Not surprised at all. I'm shocked we kept it close and actually leading for a while. Peterborough having a 5 pointer at reserve scoring 12 points was the difference. Thank the Lord Porsing and MPT had off nights, otherwise it would've been a massacre. I'm afraid we're gonna come up short a few more times against the stronger sides at home. Some fantastic racing involving Edward Kennett, was a joy to watch.
  9. At least it's a bona fide injury and not the result of a dodgy burger
  10. I don't understand people that say bigger tracks make for better racing. Seen some cracking stuff at Plymouth, Rye & Mildenhall and some dire meetings at Somerset, Sheffield, Peterborough & Berwick
  11. Steve Jensen and his track team will have to perform miracles to get this on
  12. It is indeed. Last defeated by Charles Wright in heat 5 at Somerset on 25th March
  13. MPT goes very well around Rye House. Could kick start his season.
  14. I s'pose there's only so much you can do with the materials supplied. I thought he showed some balls putting Covatti as a tac against Kennett on Saturday.
