  1. He's injured. Anyway, when did logic and speedway ever go together? Heat 15 at Glasgow today for example
  2. Wouldn't recommend him as a guest at Rye anyway after his poor display in March
  3. Alden has the lowest average of any number one in the Premier League, so finding a decent guest will be difficult. The only rider I can see that you can use at Rye next week who may score decent points is Ludvig Lindgren. Jack Holders is also a possibility.
  4. Branford only has one meeting then. On the plus side, a month at reserve should benefit Kasper
  5. Kasper at reserve in June. Not sure how it works, but if Rob is the injury replacement, would he assume Peter Kargers 5 point average putting him in a second string berth?
  6. Why be embarrassed? You're not that good at the moment.
  7. Doubt many riders knew about that rule. In the heat of the moment when you're desperate to get to the tapes it's easy to forget.
  8. The weather forecast has changed from rain to cloudy, but dry Redcar gave Berwick a scare last night, so shouldn't be taken for granted. Rider replacement for Leigh Lanham and Rob Branford replaces Peter Karger. The Raiders v Eastbourne NL fixture follows the PL match
  9. Lanham missing one meeting at least. Karger out for a couple of weeks minimum
  10. Wasn't it 700 through the turnstiles to break even? Wonder how many now?
  11. if Kurtz can get more people through the turnstiles it can only be a good thing.
  12. Oh come on Martin, that's nonsense and you know it. There's a world of difference between Parkinson-Blackburn, who's one of the most promising young Brits out there and Smith, who's had the benefit of his dad's experience and advice. Wajtknecht and Ritchings have Premier League experience. Tom Bacons had plenty of track time at Mildenhall. Bowdery, Locke and Leek have had a handful of NL meetings this year, nothing before that. We're mostly happy with our Premier League team. For me that's far more important.
  13. And how were they in the rest of the meeting? They are novices out of the training school and very inexperienced. You're lucky to have the pick of the better young riders.Danyon Hume is a product of the Rye training school. He was all over the place at the start of last season, but we persevered with him and he improved greatly, then you poached him from us.
  14. Do you mention that Berwick is a one liner gaters paradise these days in your newsletters?
  15. If this kid comes good, then no. No loan fee to pay either
  16. Rather give this bloke a go than go down the tired old Bager route.
  17. Even so, RR withi Kasper, Cam & Ben would get us more points. Can't take any team for granted.
  18. Quite a shiner he has from the photo he posted on Twitter. Next home meeting is BH Monday, so that'll be rider replacement. Heeps, Lykke and the reserves eligible to take Leigh's rides.
  19. Spot on. Didn't turn left and took them all out
  20. Pretty sure that would've been a rerun if it was a Sky match. The ref (and everyone watching on TV) would've had multiple replays. Even Sam Masters admitted it should've been all four back
  21. Oh dear, a poorly disguised dig. He pops out of the gate regularly. Just doesn't seem to be able to hold onto it for 4 laps
