  1. Confirmed that Luke Bowen rides at 6 for the Bandits as guest for Hummel. After seeing them outgate Scunthorpe last night I reckon the Rockets will have a tough meeting on their hands tonight. Don't be surprised if the Bandits take a point, or even (heaven forbid) a win!! Bandits banter in full swing last night at Scunny
  2. Problem with Scunthorpe is that it's in the wrong place. Great race track, but each time I go I'm surprised how few people are there. Tonight was no exception.
  3. B4e on our way up from Hoddesdon. Is that delicious steak pie still available?
  4. The last post on the official Rye House Twitter was on 13th April
  5. There are few world class riders racing over here these days. You'd think EL costs would be lower now
  6. My very own stalker, how exciting
  7. Very rarely stray off the PL/NL threads
  8. Every team wants to succeed, but don't have the financial clout of Glagow
  9. How on earth did they get in that situation? That's shocking. No wonder they dropped down to the training league.
  10. Give it a rest will ya. Three days after an emphatic away win and all you've done is mention how bad the Rye track and support are. No mention of your teams performance at all. You've avoided my question on another thread, so I'll have another try. If the Eastbourne support is so terrific, why did you drop TWO leagues in 2015?
  11. On the track team building didn't quite work out as planned due to various factors. Too much reliance on Kennett, but the team as a whole is far more consistent than last year. The team look a lot happier these days. Peter Schroeck has installed a great team spirit Off the track the stadium is taking shape slowly, but surely. Pretty sure you won't recognise the place this time next year. It's great to see so many smiling faces around the place for a change.
  12. Not entirely sure whether there would be enough extra people through the gate to justify going EL
  13. Barker was an 8 point rider and should be averaging nearly 9 points. 7.70 is very good for a second string, but a point below what you'd expect
  14. I'm not interested in crowd figures, I'm not an accountant, but if there were 150 Eastbourne fans there, then at least 100 of them were disguised as flagpoles. Let's face it, if your home crowds were anything to shout about you wouldn't be languishing in the training league. A little bit of PL envy me thinks
  15. THE festival I suspect. Surely you've heard of it? Accommodation anywhere near the city will have either been snapped up, or at a premium. Better off basing yourself in Berwick and travelling up on the train
  16. In Garritys last season at Rye he was very inconsistent while putting in match winning performances for Coventry in the EL. Many of us suspected he wasn't really putting the effort in for us while getting rave reviews on Sky. I'm not saying Kerr isn't putting 100% for Ipswich, just making a comparison.
  17. Rye have Peter Karger, roughly in the same position, but he continues to get the support of team manager and promotion in publc while under great pressure due to poor performances. Then he beat Sam Masters....
  18. As a stand alone club who've dropped down two leagues they need one. I'm pretty sure we'd be the same if we only had a National League team. We won't live or die on the fortunes of the Raiders. The Rockets are the number one priority at Rye House.
