I've given up trying to keep up with the rules. Earlier this year there was the tac ruling in the Premier League Cup, then the riding over the Centre green rule, now this

Different rules over three different leagues?

Halifax Tiger is spot on. The Armstrong incident is probably why Kevin Jolly has behaved in this way. I fear for Mildenhall Speedway.

Even more baffling why he's never been a Rocket. Remember Jason Bunyan telling me that he'd recommended him to Len Silver 3 or 4 years ago -
Why? I don't like Cradley supporters

MPT turns up as Berwicks guest at Rye and scores 11, two weeks later at Plymouth he's guff. Oh well -
Feel some sympathy for Mildenhall. Kevin Jolly is obviously upset, I don't blame him. Not sure if this is the correct way to go about things though

Weather forecast is shocking. -
Surely not the weather?

Hunters post is pretty much spot on. Raiders are riding on the coat tails of the feel good factor around Rye this year. To accommodate Branford, Morley and Priest it was necessary to have the rest of the side made up with three pointers. Not ideal unless they are of the calibre of Bewley, Parkinson-Blackburn etc... Not sure how long the Rye faithful will keep paying to watch it. Only excitement is when Branford missed the gate, otherwise it's mostly tedious. Unfortunately George Hunter has been plagued by injury all season and the other three have shown little or no improvement. Kenny Bowdery has drawn the short straw and has been at number 2, very tough for him. I'd love to be more positive, but I'm struggling to drum up much enthusiasm

Having four such inexperienced lads in the side is always gonna cause problems. Apart from heats 13 & 15, heat advantages are a rare commodity. Heat 8 is almost always a write off. It's difficult to keep the enthusiasm going and even though I'm less than 5 minutes drive from Rye I really don't know if I'll find the enthusiasm to go to any more Raiders meetings. I haven't seen any improvement in the four struggling lads, who I'm sure are trying their best, but that's the problem. If that's their best then...

Berwick Vs Ipswich 18th
Shadders replied to allthegearbutnaeidea's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Great result for Berwick, but zero entertainment according to the updates. -
Good point for a 3 man team. Too many falls from the other 4. Need more time at training school. Locke, Bowdery & Leek aren't good enough for NL yet. Hunter hardly rode due to injury.

Almost every heat from the gate. There's no secret to the Berwick track, gate and you're gone. Berwicks gating this past few weeks has been excellent. -

Until his broken hand heals. It's a bit rich from a Berwick insider when you flew Manuel Hauzinger over to do a quarter of a lap at Edinburgh for some dodgy reason or another -

Saw Berwick win at Scunny a couple of weeks ago, all mainly from the gate. That's the only way we'll get anything there. That's the plan -

7+1 from 5 for Heeps last year. Sheffield will win fairly easy. 12-14 points -
NEP's post was in response to mine I suspect. Doubt either of us would want to see that happen.
