Reckon they'll be paid, but less than an EL fixture. If the meeting is decent it could attract a few old fans back.

Such a shame that the dimensions of the track are dictated by what is basically a pub team.

God knows why Sky keep popping up to Berwick when there's tracks like Scunthorpe & Peterborough. Scunny perhaps not this year as the team are so poor, but this fixture has a history of good meetings. Baffling

No no no no... A fried pie? These are baked and delicious. I heartily recommend them. Burgers pretty decent too

Shocking bad luck

I'd like to have seen this televised on Sky

Here goes.... Luke Chessell claimed he had no machinery after problems with the two bikes used as a guest in a couple of PL meetings. Cradley booked Matt Williamson as a guest for the meeting (quite acceptable within current rules). Kevin Jolly blew a gasket and cancelled the meeting. On reflection he changed his mind and tried to get the meeting back on, but for whatever reason that wasn't possible. Social media goes into meltdown and KJ announces he's taking a short break from speedway. Quite a few people, unaware of the drama unfolding, turn up at West Row for the meeting and are quite rightly disappointed and angry. That's how I understand it. Please feel free to correct any inaccuracies

The food is better at Berwick Rangers matches. Proper food truck with fish & chips, battered haggis and Scotch pies.
