It was 50/50 whether I went to this, wish I'd listened to my head instead of my heart. Awful meeting on an awful track. This ordinary Cradley side will not have an easier away win. Ben Morley not at his best and the bottom three, well... Only Rob Branford provided any entertainment. Great ride in heat 13, apart from that an instantly forgettable speedway meeting.

Is Danny Aires as OTT as that after every heat win, or was it enhanced for the cameras? Closest I've seen in recent years was Andrew Silver after a meeting at Rye in 2009, but that was after a 6 ride paid maximum.

Wasn't he on borrowed equipment last year, some sort of patched up machine cobbled together? Glasgow have the finances to kit him out, whereas Berwick chose not to, you can't really blame them as it wouldn't really be fair on the other members of the team.

They had a speed gun on Paul Clews a few years back. Think he was hitting close to 70mph down the back straight (downhill)
