  1. Hmmmm... yeah.... well.... I can only apologise for my industrial language. Dunno why, maybe me getting older, but I seem to swearing a lot these days, especially at speedway.
  2. One of the best British GP's I've seen and the main topic of conversation is a rider swearing. I dunno if it was a big deal or not, I haven't seen the footage, I was at the stadium. Was it really that bad?
  3. Len Silver was very interested, but then he upped sticks and moved to Kent
  4. You're both. Wasn't great, but it never is when you see your team lose. I said a point was the best we could get and they duly obliged. Branford looks in a different league to Karger, who I suspect wouldn't have scored a point. Didn't think King would be interested with the GP two days away, but fair play to him, although a fit and well Kennett may have made a difference. I thought he looked under power, but have since learned he's nursing an ear infection and has pulled out of the PL Pairs after aggregating a shoulder injury in that heat 13 fall. One of the worst refereeing decisions I've seen in recent years when Risager was given the win in heat 3 when Heeps clearly crossed the line half a wheel ahead (I was dead opposite the start/finish line with a clear view. Fully expected to see Branford in heat 14, would love to know why he wasn't considered. Why do they only open the stadium to the public 45 minutes before the start?
  5. Most stand on the first bend close to the bar. Dunno about friendly though 😉
  6. Getting slagged off by a know nothing won't give me any sleepless nights I assure you.
  7. Joe Jacobs in good form tonight at Belle Vue. Witches trump card for sure.
  8. Going by the KOC meeting in May, Heeps & Lanham weren't great, Leigh especially. If Ben repeats his performance he'll be doing well. Kasper won't like it.
  9. Have a vague recollection of the last time Scunny staged a Sky meeting. Was it very wet, or am I imagining things?
  10. Whoever it is, he will have easy pickings against Peter Karger
  11. Yeah, it was about there, right on the apex of 1 & 2, a bloke in his 50's with an arm in a sling would you believe. It was pathetic.
  12. One particular fella got very annoyed when I took acception to his cheering when a Rye rider (Jason Bunyan I think) had a fall. In fact, most, if not all of the confrontations I've had at various tracks have been for that reason.
