  1. Who or what are the Wulsons? 5.38 average in 2015 according to my calculations
  2. £2 to park (plenty of spaces) £20 admission Expect Robson and Lanham for Rye House
  3. Can't say I blame him. What are the BSPA playing at? Already a delay as BWD falls and damaged the fence in heat 1
  4. Apparently the riders are in dispute over the £163 flat rate they've been offered to race today. Some questions over whether the meeting will go ahead
  5. As long as he's got Gerry, his comfort giraffe I don't think he's bothered. I dunno what he looks like. They just dumped a load of shale on the inside of the first bend
  6. We got here at 11am and there were people already sitting in the main stand. Far too early to turn up. Should've waited until around 2pm The bar are doing beer at £15 a pitcher (4 pints). Better value than £4.20 a pint.
  7. . Now I know why Len Silver refused to put out a team in his last few years as Rye promoter.

  9. Just found out they're racing the three groups separately. Group C not expected to be on track until around 6.30pm
  10. I'll be down to just that by 4pm. Where's the famous Showground breeze?
  11. Interesting http://www.berwickbandits.co/article/bandits-get-their-man
  12. Just after Peterborough services head north on the A1 for 3/4 of a mile. Turn left (signed Chesterton/Alwalton) Turn left at T junction onto Oundle Road. At Roundabout take 3rd exit and follow the road round into the Showground.
  13. I incurred the wrath of Len Silver through my updates a couple of years ago. He even felt the need to go to the local rag to voice his displeasure, even mentioning me by name. Once, on the way back from an away meeting at Sheffield where we had been well and truly turned over, we bumped into each other at Woodall Services. "Here's the spy in the camp" he remarked as I walked past. I can't remember another time he's acknowledged me in over 30 years as a Rye fan. Safe to say I wasn't on his xmas card list!
  14. When I first saw NBJ at Rye I thought he'd be hitting and maintaining an 8 point average. When I read he'd signed for Peterborough I was certain he would. Not progressed as I expected.
  15. Let's change the title of the thread to "Premier League 4's (only for positive posts and/or posts that marky agrees with)"There, is that ok?
  16. Like diving for a penalty, or punching the ball into the net like Thierry Henry or Diego Maradonna
  17. They'd still beat Rangers or Celtic
  18. Just don't send me to the local farmer for some milk "Where are going with that cow?" I'm taking her to the bull" "Shouldn't your father be doing that?" "No, it has to be the bull"
  19. Rockets managed to get a point there a couple of weeks ago and we're rubbish. Funny old game innit?
  20. Wait until Morrissey Fan finishes delivering his leaflets. He'll be livid
