  1. Probably hadn't taken his meds before he posted that.
  2. Because the weather was good and there were no major delays I thought the three group system worked well.
  3. 8 teams with 40 riders at Worky in 2009. 12 teams with 57 riders on Saturday. Even if half of them had 2 bikes that's going on 90 machines to accommodate
  4. Overall I'd say the weekend was a success. Sure, there are bound to be some who will find fault in anything. I personally didn't think the individual worked very well with that format. Better to have a 16 rider, 23 heat format. The weather was perfect and apart from the individual meeting the dust was kept to a minimum.
  5. Parking - £2 per dayEntrance - £20 per day, £30 for a 2 day pass (adults) Don't know children's and concessions admission Camping - Pretty sure it was £10 per tent per night
  6. But more convenient for fans of Rye House, Peterborough, Ipswich, Somerset and Plymouth, not to mention supporters of EL sides such as Coventry and Leicester who attended the event. Scunthorpe is equally distant to Peterborough as it is to Manchester. Besides, you can't trust the weather up there
  7. I've no problem with the extra quid. I'm fully aware that clubs that don't own their own stadiums get little or nothing from the food and drink outlets. I think the club should get a cut Just to add, although the food and drink at the EOS is a little more expensive than every track I've been to (apart from Cardiff) at least they allow you to take your own food and drink in, unlike the owners of Owlerton who don't allow any in. I also like the EOS for the grassy area on the first bend which is always a pleasant place to park yer bum for the day
  8. A extra thousand odd through the gate and rip off food and drink prices not enough for em?
  9. Car park at the Showground upped the price by 100% for the weekend, so anything goes
  10. Great ride by Brady Kurtz last to first in one straight. Year of the underdog continues...
  11. The asset system is a joke anyway
  12. Thanks for the info. I've relayed it to the irate Bandits fans on the first bend
  13. And the Berwick Bandit wins the mascot race. Plenty of dust during the individual meeting
  14. I'll be honest, I'm only here to accompany the missus and our sprog. Not really a fan of individual, pairs and 4TT meetings
  15. That's the all in figure I was told they were on. They were also told they had to be at a rider briefing at 11.30am, even though some didn't take to the track until 7pm
  16. When I heard that the riders were only on £163 flat rate for yesterday I thought we'd see some going through the motions. Thankfully most seemed to be giving it their best. Not sure the reason for Edwards below par performance yesterday
