Meeting too stop start to be enjoyable for me. The track didn't look in great shape.
No home meeting for five weeks didn't help the home team get in the groove, but in truth Somerset were the better all round side and deserved the win.
No work done on the stadium in the mid season break either.
Graham Dury having a right moan at the ref before the NL match. Didn't catch much, but the track was mentioned and the make up of the Brummies side. He's not happy
No joke, I'm pretty sure you're gonna go through. Your guys ride our track better than ours ride yours. Forget last years meeting at Berwick, that was a freak result.
We'd have no chance against Newcastle in the semi final
Rye House have to race many away meetings, so they're in a false position.
I can genuinely see Berwick progress into the next round of the KOC, but do you really think you have a chance in a 2 leg semi final against Newcastle, Somerset, Glasgow, or Edinburgh?
Only 12 teams raced on Saturday, three of them didn't have a reserveSurely the £163 quoted was just for the semi finals. They would've been paid again for the final and individual races on Sunday
I'm not sure most of them knew what they were getting before they arrived, or surely they would've made some sort of protest before Saturday. If so, then I'm amazed. Would you turn up for work not knowing what pay rate you were on?
Didn't seem to affect the majority of them. Some battling performances including a bit of argy bargy on Sunday involving team mates Bjerre and Andersen
