  1. Too early for me. Busy day at work. If this meeting was at the usual time of 7pm it would've been rained off. Very wet here now
  2. Sick of Rye House Some odd decisions from the Rye team manager this year
  3. Something definitely amiss. Rohan Tungate made it to the Belle Vue v Swindon meeting after the Somerset meeting at Edinburgh was called off early. As it happens he needn't have bothered as that was rained off too, but at least he made the effort. I think an explanation is in order. I'm not buying the travelling time. Kennett lives near Eastbourne I gather. The meeting at Coventry was called off around 11.30, a full 7 hours to get to Plymouth. I presume he bikes were ready loaded for the trip to Brandon
  4. I should think he'll be much in demand. As he's now a declared team member his average will probably rise
  5. You're as good as in the KOC final. Can't see you letting a 16 point lead slip. At least your season will last longer than some
  6. Tungate travelled to BV after the Somerset meeting at Edinburgh was called off
  7. New rule for 2017. Home team doesn't get to use the tac ride until 12 points behind Would've been better with Kirk Douglas as guest
  8. Somerset have already lost tonight's meeting at Edinburgh to the weather
  9. Disappointed with the result, but pleased to read of the decent attendance. Last time I was there for an October PL meeting there were no more than 150 playing spectators
  10. Coventry v Lakeside called off this morning. Plenty of time for Edward to get to Plymouth
  11. Three associate directors have resigned. Not sure what this means for the club in general
  12. Great race, but from what I've seen that the exception rather than the rule. The BV track helps tremendously, looks a great shape
  13. I'll be at Sheffield for the PLRC. I'll pop in when I get home. May get to see half the third match
  14. Graham Dury has never pulled a stroke during his speedway management career, oh no, not him. Always plays it straight. Blimey!!
  15. I heard that too. First part of a double header?
  16. I expect the Sheffield home meeting will start at 7.30 Early end to the season. Done and dusted by mid September
  17. Can we have our thread back please? What the fu*k has Dimitri Berge got to do with this meeting?
  18. Just watched the clip several times, freezing the film as they crossed the line and I STILL can't split em, so how the ref can decide without even seeing footage is baffling. In the old days that would've been a dead heat
  19. That's not bad, but don't forget the A1 back in those days was very different. Less motorway and more roundabouts, especially the section between Doncaster and Stamford.
