  1. Don't think he's quite in Tom Perrys class. Been knocking around the third tier for ages, what is he, 28? Like you said, we shall see!
  2. Disagree with you about Halsey. Nowhere near Premier League class. Off the top of my head I can only think of one reserve that is about the same standard, Danny Phillips
  3. Lambert wanted number one money, even though he would've started the season as a second in the averages. Karger has stepped down from the side due to injury
  4. Hopefully there's a production company planning a fly on the wall documentary on Peterborough Speedway. Guaranteed car crash TV.
  5. Had the opportunity to build the best racing track in the UK, but blew it. Who on earth came up with that shape?
  6. Reading that Stuart Robson and his mechanic took a day off work to be told their services weren't required as late as this afternoon
  7. Surely he's done with NL racing next year.
  8. Rye House have a Tuesday meeting coming up soon. Don't s'pose they could fit in a Saturdsy before the cut off date
  9. I'm a natural pessimist, but I really can't see us pulling back 16 points. 10 points would've been tough enough
  10. I agree... Move on. Season is a dead duck anyway. If/when we're out of the KOC on Monday there's really nothing else to play for apart from avoiding the wooden spoon.
  11. I hope Ryan Douglas performs better than he did for us at Plymouth last week
  12. At least I'll be able to follow the Rockets when they venture up north
  13. Oh come on Martin. You go to a restaurant primarily to eat the food on offer. You know in advance what type of cuisine you're getting, so if you're not a fan of spicy food you wouldn't go to an Indian restaurant. Speedway Stadium food consists largely of burgers, chips, pies etc Not many have a healthy option for those who are watching their weight. I agree with a previous post that you shouldn't need to eat for the couple of hours it takes to run a normal 15 heat meeting, but you've been to the PLRC at Sheffield. That meeting takes 3 or 4 hours to run, so by the time you've parked, queued to get in a left that's a good 5-6 hours. You're telling me that I've got to go that long without anything to eat because they want me to eat their processed fast food rubbish?
