  1. Sheffield look an all round better team than Peterborough with their two crap reserves and Richard Hall doing a poor impersonation of a speedway rider. Only going on what we heard announced.
  2. Absolute bolloxios in this case. I can't think of any reason why Branford shouldn't have replaced Morley in heat 14, unless his bike wasn't ready. A savvy team manager would've made Morley miss the 2 minutes giving Branford time to sort out any issues.
  3. Thanks. Concussion alone means he misses the next three meetings YOU ARE THE MANAGER Rider 1 has scored 2 gifted points plus another against an out of his depth reserve and has been off the pace all night Rider 2 has scored 10 points including 3 wins, one of them against the previously unbeaten home favourite and captain. Rider 1 is due up in heat 14. You are 3 points ahead away from home. Do you.... A. Keep rider 1 in the heat on the off chance he has the race of his life? Or... B. Replace him with rider 2? Answers on a postcard to: Peter Schroeck Rye House Team Manager Rye House Stadium Rye Road Hoddesdon Herts EN11 0EH
  4. Sam Masters guests for Edward Kennett. After Cameron Heeps nasty spill at Peterborough tonight it'll be RR for him. All apart from Masters can take his rides
  5. Didn't get to hear the extent of Cameron's injuries apart from concussion. Anyone have any info?
  6. Either of those two. Michael Palm Toft as soon as Peterborough let him go. No brainier.
  7. That will probably be my last PLRC. Was bored rigid for most of the meeting and I don't like individual meetings much anyway. Don't think I've seen a really good meeting in all the years I've been going there. The 2007 PL play off final 1st leg was probably my favourite.
  8. Kennett twisted his knee in heat 1 at Scunny on Friday. I was surprised to see him out in heat 13 last night as it was clear he was in a lot of pain. I'll be amazed if he's at Sheffield today and must be a doubt for the Rockets visit to Peterborough on Monday and at home to Sheffield on Tuesday
  9. That's thin Mediterranean blood for you The Ben Fund meeting at Berwick was the coldest I've ever been at a speedway meeting
  10. Now that would've been a good meeting to screen on Sky TV. Even though we lost it was a thoroughly enjoyable meeting. Mind you, once the sun had gone down it was freezing!!
  11. Cheers Screm. We were on the third bend and I I assumed from the crowd on the home straight your man had got it
  12. Can anyone confirm the winner of heat 11? I could've sworn I heard TJ given the win over Kennett. Looked very close
  13. One of the more entertaining meetings I've seen here. Kennett clearly injured and must be doubtful for the next few meetings. Baffled why Peterborough let Tom Perry go.
  14. Edward twisted his knee in heat 1, which explains his low score (Hertfordshire Mercury)
  15. That and Newcastle away. Apart from that he's carried the side this year
  16. We have very few meetings remaining. Scunny never been a happy hunting ground for Kennett. Tonight may be a better indication
