  1. Lots of names being thrown around. It's good to have so much interest. One positive is that the promotion realised that last years team building was a disaster and have gone early this year
  2. Although Kennett was the standout points wise, Robbo was my star man. Like you, I'm afraid his average will dictate whether he stays or not. What would his Premier average be?
  3. Only because he rode in more meetings. All of them actually Did you see Kennett at Newcastle?
  4. More chance of seeing Freddie Garrity at Rye
  5. Comparing Hancock to Watt is like comparing Elvis to Shakin Stevens
  6. Didn't Bellego leave under a cloud? Mind you, new promotion, new start.
  7. I may be barking up the wrong tree, but did Harris and Nicholls have a falling out a while back?
  8. Which year was that? I can only see a 2012 average of 7.87
  9. In his final season at Rye in 2010 he finished on a 9.53 average
  10. They've learned lessons from last year it seems. I don't think they decided to race in the Premiership to finish last
  11. Basketball is mostly a winter sport and takes place indoors. Not many speedway stadiums are all seater
  12. They wanted almost £17 to walk around Edinburgh Castle the other day. A family of 4 admission to Paradise Wildlife Park is £56. Almost £60 to see a load of sad looking dopey animals. If I wanted to do that I'd just go up to the Midlands to Cradley.
  13. Rye House have been £16 for 3 or 4 years. They'd have probably put up the admission even if they'd stayed in the second tier.
  14. Pretty sure they'll relocate once the rebuild is complete. Big mistake booting out the old souvenir people in the first place. I refuse to buy anything from that woman
  15. Ben Morley must be nailed on now the Raiders are no more
  16. Daft is quite mild for me. Someone who's been going to Rye House since the 70's will no longer be going because they've moved to a different league? I wish I was in your position to have a choice. I'll be over 300 miles away. Doubt I'll see the Rockets at all next year
  17. Your argument is a little daft regarding seeing the same teams two or three times a season. Firstly, we saw Somerset and Plymouth twice last year in the League Cup and Premier League. Ipswich twice in the PL & KOC. Secondly, you don't have to go to every meeting, just pick and choose. The Premiership will just be a revamped PL. To say you won't be going at all seems a bit baffling. The extra money you'll spend travelling up to Peterborough will negate the extra pound or two entrance at Rye
  18. How many of last years new riders do you think have a future in the sport? None that I saw. A couple of em struggled to complete 4 laps without falling off after a season of racing. The Raiders were doomed when Andrew Silver left the club
  19. http://m.hertfordshiremercury.co.uk/no-national-league-speedway-at-rye-house-next-season/story-29885182-detail/story.html Last year was embarrassing. Only the NL4's made it bearable. If you're really that desperate to see NL racing, Mildenhall is only an hour or so away
