He actually went under the fence and got up unscathed. Most other fences and he could have been seriously injured after hitting it at that speed. As it was he got back on his bike and rode side saddle back to the pits, after putting out the flames, as his hand was on fire

Hmmmmm...now you mention it, I seem to remember a night in 2005 when Berwick were at Sheffield and needed to win for us to win the title. A group of us set up a big screen in the back hall of the local Labour club and watched speedway updates on it. I seem to remember wanting Sheffield to win, but there certainly wasn't any cheering, just a lot of HUGE smiles, handshakes and backslapping Liar

A true fan would NEVER cheer for another team whatever the circumstances. They had their cup final on Saturday night. Highlight of the season for some of them. At least we'd never embarass ourselves by getting gubbed 75-15 this or any season. Shocking performance today from them and on a big track too. Sheffield fans should be directing their venom towards their team instead of attempting to score cheap points off ours.

Yeah, we were awful too, but they weren't our "best pair" on out there, whereas yours were.

Had a last minute chance to go today, but couldn't leave kids behind. Was gonna go next year, but nothing will top that tonight. Great performance and a very likeable guy

I didn't see the meeting, so can't comment on the individual performances. I hope Tai has the sense to realise that he'll need at least a couple of years as a full time PL rider before stepping up into the Elite league, if there still is one next year.

I don't give stuff where he comes from or which country he wants to represent. I'm just enjoying watching him ride for the Rockets Team first, country second

First few heats were a lottery. I shouldn't think the crowds would flock to Rye when it's been raining all day.

Corals, who own the stadium, would have nothing to do with it.

Sod them, I had to get out of bed and walk 3 paces to the computer to do the updates!!

The fours should have been run in the summer anyway and teams chosen from the averages at end of May.

I'd have liked to but Daughter ill, son at sleepover and I worked out that it would have cost me £70 in petrol, admission and food, so a no brainer really.
