At least we agree on something Good to see the Scunthorpe boys have learned the art of team riding Spare a thought for poor Ben Morley ..... I've just been told he blew his newly repaired engine to bits tonight -

I'm aware of the format Lewis, I just don't think it's fair ..... In esssence the U18 champion was decided tonight on one four lap race, rendering the previous 21 heats irrelevant. -

But Joe beat him in the qualifiers, was that hard luck too? ..... Whats the point of riding yer arse off for five heats only to lose out in an uneccessary final?? -

No more to add really, I told my other half this could happen as we watched the qualifying heats come through ..... to go through the qualifiers unbeaten only to lose out in the final is ridiculously unlucky ..... I agree with Squall, twenty heats and thats yer lot ..... Congratulations to Joe Haines, the REAL U18 champion -
I reckon they'll charge as for a PL meetings which is £14 for adults (over 16), £12 seniors and £4 for kids 16 and under ..... It doesn't say on the Rye House site, but I'd be amazed if kids under 5 are charged ..... I should think those prices will apply on Saturday too ..... Programmes are usually a couple of quid and parking is free, but the car park will fill early I should think, best get there early. A NL meeting that I'm really looking forward to ..... I can't choose a winner, but it'll be one of Cook, Allott, Hughes or Hart

Not sure if it has been covered before, but looking at the admission price of £13.50 compared to £25 for the GP Qualifier at Coventry ..... Ok, there will be four heats less ..... Too far away for me to attend, but there will be updates on the Speedway Updates site for those who want to keep in touch with the proceedings
