  1. You can't bring the missus. Who's gonna cook the Mooses' Sunday roast?
  2. NO overflow car park I'm afraid. You'll have to take your chances with on street parking in the roads leading up to the stadium. I wouldn't have thought you'd get more than a couple of thousand into the stadium before it gets difficult to find a good viewing position, so best get there an hour before the meeting at least.
  3. I've never known tickets to be issued for a Rye House meeting before. Last years admission was £14 adults (16 and over), £12 seniors and £4 for kids, parking is free.
  4. Only since the 2005 KO Cup final.... Before you started winning things there were hardly any travelling Kings Lynn fans at Rye House.
  5. This could very well be the largest attendance in Rye House history ... I hope loads of cash is raised for this good cause.
  6. And as it's Turkey you'll be spending most of the time on the bog
  7. Room rates for 14th March Travelodge I've stayed at the Harlow Travelodge, it has a carvery next door
  8. No criticism of the line up, the track or the promotion, but it was a poor spectacle yesterday ... I can't see how anyone can think of anything positive to say about it, apart from the fact it didn't rain and no rider was injured ... I'm sure a good majority spectators were there purely because it was a speedway meeting in the middle if winter, a good chance to see some competitive action and catch up with a few old and new speedway buddies ... I must admit I was expecting a little more from the likes of Iversen and Mads K.
  9. Probably the most boring meeting I've been to in 25 years of watching speedway, and that's from a Rye House fan!! Don't think it was quite as cold as last year at Poole, although I couldn't feel my toes by the end ... To cap it all we went to Nando's in Watford on the way home .. No Fanta, No corn on the cob, no red pepper dip, no ketchup and they had strawberry frozen yoghurt when the sign said vanilla!!
  10. Sounds like they wanted a week long freebie Good luck Moanarchs
  11. Why not at Rye House? ... There are plenty of tracks within a couple of hours drive of Hoddesdon, so it won't be much of a hardship to get there, especially on a Sunday.
  12. I've been taking my daughter in her wheelchair since the Rockets returned there nine years ago without any problems ..... For wheelchair users my advice would be to park in the Go Kart car park behind the stadium and enter the stadium itself through the pits entrance, or enter in your car through the gates next to the main entrance, but this car park usually fills quickly .... Non wheelchair disabled supporters can access easily from the main entrance ... There are four or five steps up to the bar, but the chippie has flat access .... There is a disabled toilet behind the 3rd/4th bends
  13. I didn't use the word "he" once in that post!!! ..... Less time on the beer and more time changing nappies methinks NO worse than you see on Eastenders, Corrie umpteen times a week, only these are REAL people, so twice as entertaining ... keep it up you two
  14. I'm not aware of the exact circumstances regarding your "arrangement", but surely the guy deserves the occasional weekend away? Perhaps it would've been nice to hear it from him rather than read it on the forum I have a similar situation with my kids, who I have almost every weekend ..... My ex wife and I have an arrangement where I give her plenty of notice if I want a weekend away without them, such as the Cardiff GP, and she's usually more than happy to oblige, but there again I'm not boning her mother, so she's more amenable.
  15. There's only four of us, the kids won't take up much room ..... Tell the Moose to get lost
  16. She said we'll bring a couple of cans over to your place to drink with our Sunday roast
  17. B4e is coming back from Berwick a day early just to get to this meeting, so it better be good ..... She had to shell out £13 to change her train tickets!!
  18. Hendersen doesn't seem a Swedish name Linus Sundstrom was plucked from the Swedish third teir I think, so these boys could be pretty handy
  19. Are you taking your pet rabbit with you? Who on earth would want to eat salad at 3am in the morning, unless it has meat and chilli sauce mixed in with it, apart from a pasty faced vegetarian?
  20. Yep, that's the one ..... Not cheap, but hey, you only live once ..... Pretty handy to stagger back from the pubs and clubs from and a stone's throw away from Chippy Alley Are you staying in the same place as last time?
