  1. It did the job, although the person who went into the cubicle after you'd taken all the paper had to use their programme
  2. That was Squall running it last year, a bit last minute ... This time I'm gonna do it properly You better get your entry in quick while you're still relatively sober
  3. In conjunction with Squall I am again running a points prediction competition at this years PLRC. You choose eight riders, write them on the slips I'm providing, hand over a quid and keep your fingers crossed that your chosen riders rack up the points ... The winner will be the person who's riders total the most points in the heats ... Winner takes all and the prize money will be shared if scores are tied. Last years winner bagged £25 ... The more play, the more you can win! You can find me in the Barracks pub pre meeting, in the queue for chips and curry pre meeting and then at the back of the first bend near the wooden benches before tapes up. Come on, have a go!
  4. LINE-UP: Joe Screen (Glasgow), Ryan Fisher (Edinburgh), Linus Sundstrom (Rye House), Kenni Larsen (Newcastle), Jason Lyons (Birmingham), David Howe (Scunthorpe), Lee Complin (Berwick), Gary Havelock (Redcar), Josh Auty (Sheffield), Cory Gathercole (Somerset), Leigh Lanham (Newport), Tomas Topinka (King's Lynn), Rusty Harrison (Workington), Taylor Poole (Stoke), Travis McGowan (Glasgow), Rene Bach (Newcastle). Is that the line up in order or will there be a draw?
  5. Ridiculous ... That means I won't get my kids home until well past midnight
  6. Not been able to post 'cos my PC has been buggered for almost two weeks ... Had to visit a local internet cafe to post this That was one of the most boring afternoons of speedway I've had the misfortune to attend. I can't think of anything positive to say about it ... After years of defending the Rye House track It's pretty clear that it's not able to stand up to 25 heats of speedway ... The track had no water put down on it from when I arrived around mid-day until after the first heat as far as I could see. At other tracks I've attended the track is worked on until around 15 minutes from the start ... Oh, how I'm looking forward to this weekends double header with Newport, or perhaps I'll just stay in and watch the Nordic GP instead!!
  7. I thought I heard Craig announce 11am. I've been looking forward to this meeting since it was announced... Hopefully the track will be in tip top condition, but as anyone who's attended an afternoon meeting at Rye knows, it very rarely is.
  8. Good on him... They're lucky not to be still trying to retrieve it from the cameraman's anus!!! Gollob being allowed to keep his point from the semi final was strange
  9. Any idea when the draw is made for riding order?
  10. Are you saying Adrian is over the hill?... You'll have B4E on your back for that!!
  11. This was quite entertaining wjm, surprised you didn't remember it...there again, it wasn't Paul Clews 2008 PLRC heat 16
  12. I'm sure I saw him ride at Rye House two or three years ago
  13. Errr... Didn't I do some of them?....Hope to win it for a second year running I'd be more than happy to help keep tabs on the scores again this year.
  14. Yep, and this time Shadders jnr will be there to keep Drac in order
