  1. No, they are logo's of the teams that Kelvin rode for during his career... Poole, Kings Lynn, Hull, Rye House, Weymouth and Canterbury... Missing logo's are Hackney and Crewe
  2. Not gonna jump on the bandwagon, but anyone who thinks that fast tracks lead to exciting speedway should've been at Sheffield on Sunday!! *looks for yawn smiley*
  3. This time tomorrow I'll be polishing off a carvery lunch!!
  4. The jacket you posted a link for was from the Alan Sage Testimonial held at Arena Essex (Lakeside) on 3rd November 1985.
  5. Cue plenty of Bandit baiting!! It's Gok Wan now Spinny!!
  6. Is it a Rockets race jacket? According to 1986 Speedway Yearbook the Rye House Select side contained Andrew Silver, Ali Stevens, Bob Garrad and Rob Parish... I have the programme somewhere in the garage amongst countless others... At a guess I'd say it was Andrew Silver's race jacket... He rode at number 1 for the Rockets in 1985. Just for those fellow anoraks out there (Rye House unless stated)... Rye House Select 28 (Andrew Silver 4-9; Ali Stevens 4-7; Bob Garrad 4-6; Rob Parish, Mildenhall 4-6); Poole Select 30 (Kevin Smith 4-11; Rob Henry, Mildenhall 4-9; Neil Middleditch, Arena Essex, 4-9; Russell Paine, Arena Essex, 4-1); Kent Select 22 (Barry Thomas, Hackney, 4-8; Rob Tilbury, Canterbury, 4-6; Andy Galvin, Hackney, 4-4; Peter Johns, Wimbledon, 4-4); Kings Lynn Select 16 (Martin Goodwin, Arena Essex, 4-8; Bob Humphries, Arena Essex, 4-4; Kelvin Mullarkey 4-3; Gary Rolls 4-1).
  7. The Bandits bus doesn't leave until around noon, which has buggered the chance of many of the Bandits fans making it to the Barracks
  8. Count these out... The Bandits supporters bus isn't due into Sheffield until 4pm.
  9. Is this the same Gary Petersen that rode for Nelson Admirals?
  10. He did say about 50-50, so it could be 4-3 prefer Rye House I'd say that Marc Owen prefers Lakeside... Ben Morely and David Mason have a liking to Rye House... As for the other 4, I couldn't say!
  11. Was this a Scunthorpe/Sheffield decision not to travel down next Sunday?
  12. 2012 will be pretty much the same as 2011 with possibly a replacement to be found for Jordan Frampton who looks increasingly unhappy and has spoken of his dislike for the Rye House track... Unless a quality rider lands in his lap, as Linus did in 2008, it'll be another unimaginative side built way under the points limit and announced before Christmas... Don't be surprised if next years side is already decided... Can't imagine any of the Hawks side will be given a run in the side as none have shown that they are ready for the Premier League... If crowds contunue to dwindle the clubs PL existance could be in serious doubt.
  13. I'm not particularly bothered about the £12 for myself, but a reduction to £2 for kids under 16 could help to bring a few more through the gate who would normally not consider going in my opinion... I'd certainly be considering attending more NL meetings at Rye House if the pricing policy was in line with most other clubs
  14. The Rye House Raiders make a full time return to the NL next year replacing the Hackney Hawks according to the Ryehousefans Twitter page Not surprised as the Hawks have been playing to mostly dismal crowds at Rye House... It remains to be seen whether the return of the Raiders attracts many more through the gate... I'd suggest a fairer pricing policy with regards to under 16's would help.
  15. DON'T TELL HIM FFS!!! Too late At least Drac will have a worthy opponent for the drinkathon!! See ya there Lew
  16. How did the track look last night? ... The dreaded dust made a reappearance last week in the Rockets vs Newcastle.
  17. B4E wants to visit Meadowhall Shopping Centre beforehand, so we won't be at the Barracks until well after 1pm
  18. Question: Will Blue Jam be collecting his drinks points again this year?
  19. I have a question: Does the landlord provide a Weightwatchers carvery for those of us who are looking after their figure?
  20. Seeing this Cameron Heeps lad may have swayed it, but as I'm not a Hackney or Mildenhall supporter I'll be giving this a miss.
