  1. Going by updates a below average guest and mistakes on track cost the Rockets the win
  2. Is there a ruling that in the case of two riders missing the higher averaged has to be a guest or vice versa? I've no idea
  3. Blimey, how old are you? That's the sort of response a ten year old would come up with. At times like this is best to take it on the chin, keep a low profile, accept your team is rubbish and you were beaten by the better side.
  4. Rockets v Poole BH Monday *edit* James beat me to it
  5. I wouldn't worry about a promotion/relegation play off with Glasgow. They'll not want to move up and lose lucrative "local" derbies with Edinburgh. Now Sheffield, that's another matter
  6. Disappointed to miss it obviously, but happy my eldest boy got to see his team win. I still think 2005 was the pinnacle of my time supporting the Rockets. That was a great year
  7. My son has attempted to purchase tickets online for this meeting, but he tells me the website is down. Does anyone know what's going on?
  8. Some people are contrary just for the sake of it. You'd be hard pressed to find a genuine speedway fan who felt "cheated" on Sunday.
  9. One of, if not the best 4TT's I've seen. Well organised, minimal delays and lovely weather. Thirty two races for £20. I didn't feel cheated
  10. Can we end this debate. Peterborough didn't cheat, but they broke the rules of the competition. Of course club and rider should face some sort of punishment to prevent this happening again. They need to be made an example of.
  11. Not relevant in this case. Every Peterborough rider was busting a gut yesterday.
  12. You could argue that, but this wasn't a league fixture, different rules apply. It seems that Peterborough allowed Holder to race in Poland contrary to the rules of the competition, but by no stretch of the imagination can anyone claim they were attempting to gain an advantage.
  13. From what I've heard Belle Vue suffers from over officious stewarding. I prefer the wide open spaces at the EOES. You can relax on a picnic chair, bring your own food and drink and move freely around all parts of the stadium. I thought he was a Brit nowadays
  14. Rory Schlein having a moan on Twitter now. "Never again. Bang the 4's up yer ass"
  15. Cheating implies gaining an advantage from an unfair act. In no way can you argue replacing Holder with Lambert was beneficial to their chances.
  16. We were there for six hours in total. Don't know about anyone else, but it flew by. A very enjoyable day, despite the twelve hour round trip
  17. I'm not overly pleased to see Peterborough win, but I won't lose any sleep over it. Truth is they'd have almost certainly won with Holder in the side anyway. Now I'm a neutral I can sit back and enjoy the day. Probably the best 4TT I've seen. Those six hours just flew by
  18. Someone mentioned Holders on £900 a point at Torun. If true that's what's helping to kill British speedway
  19. How anyone can defend Holder and Peterborough over this is beyond me. His duty lies first and foremost to his GB club in one of the most important meetings of the season in front of their own supporters. Anyone who thinks differently is just being argumentative for the sake of it
  20. Waste of time should Glasgow or Edinburgh be the opponents. They'll not want to move up and lose lucrative local derbies.
  21. Hmmm... not far off, but even so that's a shocker
