  1. Rockets didn't get to practice at Poole the other week. They didn't do too badly 😉
  2. It's not Torun, but it is what it is. Comparing tracks that are different shapes and lengths is pointless and childish
  3. Good to finally meet you. I've no idea how you recognised me! I'm happy to text updates. Finding updaters is the hard part. Tried my best to fulfil both duties, but it's difficult on an iPhone with cold fingers
  4. Agree with Topsoil. While it was nice to see the Bandits fans go away happy, for the neutral that was a poor meeting. I can recall only one pass, in heat 12.
  5. The half wits take over another thread. Bore off will ya
  6. The ritual slaughter and humiliation of Somerset on Wednesday followed by a point at the OTA where we are traditionally awful.... It's not been a bad week.
  7. Three points from 5 rides at Belle Vue... Best of luck
  8. Same idiots highjacking a thread to settle a feud. What's the matter with these people?
  9. Relegation/promotion would only work if the team winning actually wants to be promoted. It's not like football where you're guaranteed a vast amount of money moving to the top division. Glasgow wouldn't want to be promoted as they'd lose all of their local meetings with Edinburgh. The closest club to them would be in Manchester!
  10. If you think that meeting was poor wait until next week!!
  11. I don't know what else you can do. Entertaining speedway on a decent evening weather wise and ran pretty efficiently. I'm afraid some people just can't be bothered these days. I was texting for speedway updates and had very few "from the gate" comments which says a lot. I thoroughly enjoyed the meeting as did my eldest two offspring up visiting for the weekend
  12. Linus Sundstrom was a great exponent of that on the 2nd bend during his spectacular second season with us. Chris Neath in his latter years I seem to recall used it too
  13. That's enough for a postponement in Buster Chapmans world
  14. I like the sound of that for purely selfish reasons. It'll mean I can see my team again while up here in exile
  15. I've given up predicting Rye House results, they're so up and down. My last Rye House meeting until gawd knows when was that defeat to BV last month. It'll be nice to avenge that
  16. If my boss gave me permission to take a day off work against company rules we'd BOTH be in trouble
  17. Maybe Robbo begins to feel fatigued towards the end of meetings. He's no spring chicken
