  1. Calm down Jock. By meaningful I meant that we were so far ahead you can't blame some of our guys for easing up on the throttle. Nothing to do with how crap your side was on Saturday, although they were really crap. Looking forward to turning you over in the league match up there
  2. I'm sure all will be explained at the next home meeting
  3. Is he in this? http://www.fim-live.com/en/sport/speedway-under-21/events/sport-event-detail/item/event/fim-speedway-u21-world-championship-pol-qr-2/
  4. Unfortunately I agree. Bandits never score well there, even with a decent side against a poor Monarchs side (not that there have been many). They won't be the last to get their arses whipped at Armadale this year either.
  5. Why does the title of the thread mention Dudley when the meeting is at Wolverhampton? Taking a drive up to back the Brits and of course cheer on Ben Morley and Jason Garrity. My first visit to Monmore. Hope it's a good un without serious mishap.
  6. I never fill in the programme for the junior races. In fact I didn't fill the programme at all. I was Tweeting the updates I think he was buying time to see how bad the guys were injured. Jason has indicated on Facebook he could be back in early May. Not heard anything about Simon. My guess is no signings otherwise we'd have seen them by now.
  7. Most of you are missing the point. Of course it's nobody's business but Alex's dad and the promotion that they have an "arrangement" over bonus points. What you should be focusing on is if this is the reason Alex is in the 2013 starting line up at the expense of Mikey Dyer, clearly a more talented rider, and could be the difference between havering a successful season and one that's over in June
  8. I think you'll see a different side to Mellgren & Lykke in a meaningful meeting in decent conditions.
  9. After a slow start the meeting pushed along at a decent pace. Can't blame Rye House for Glasgows poor showing
  10. You're either a class A moron, or you're taking the piss. You know as well as I do that things have changed in the past 30 or so years with regards to projects line this. Why do you think the new silencers were introduced?
  11. Evening meetings are so much better. Sunday evening wouldn't work. Friday gives us time to get back to Cardiff and hit the clubs for a few hours
  12. No chance with houses this close https://maps.google....ed Kingdom&z=18
  13. It was amusing at the start, but got a little wearysome by the end. Reminded me of 2005 when we were doing that to most visitors every Saturday. Didn't mind it so much then as we were top of the league and winning away too!
  14. I was there for the Rye House meeting in the first season the track opened and thought the straights were too long for the tight bends. Just my opinion, I'm no expert
  15. Updates available http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=Glasgow&thread=12103
  16. I saw that too. One crash too many it seems. It's very sad to read stuff like that
  17. Well, I hope you get it sorted. Lovely facility, friendly staff and easy to get to. Looking forward to my visit there when the Rockets & Bandits are in town
  18. Leicester had a great opportunity to construct the best track in British speedway, and ballsed it up big time. No amount of tinkering around the edges can change that. The only way is to knock it down and start again. That ain't gonna happen. Such a shame
  19. First time I've seen them, so it would be unfair of me to judge them on that showing
  20. Better than the two Glasgow Aussies I saw at Rye tonight? I'd say so on that showing
