  1. Knee injury? Yeah, right. Shouldn't think the promotion are too bothered. Skidmore, like Nick Morris last year, will be the match winner. Weather in Berwick this morning is decent. No rain forecast. Looking forward to an Andersons pie & burger later.
  2. Much as I hate to agree with you, cos you're an arrogant SOB, I can't see anything but a huge win on aggregate for Somerset, probably winning both legs
  3. Not pointless for those of us who are traveling 350 miles to watch it after having previously had a wasted 700 mile round trip for the rained off meeting in August, or for the riders who have travelled far and wide to entertain us and earn some wedge.
  4. Interesting that the Rye website names Jason Garrity in the Rockets line up with the proviso "if fit", just like it has for the past couple of months. My understanding is that he won't race again this year. Still no mention of a guest just in case. All the best options are in the NLRC
  5. Season was doomed to failure after choosing Alex Edberg and his lovely race suits over Mickey Dyer
  6. Rockets are hopeless at Berwick and with one eye on the KOC final I reckon I'm pretty safe. Over to you B4E.....
  7. Could possibly be the lowest crowd at Shielfield this year with a largely unnatractive fixture, cold weather and what could be the decisive GP on TV.
  8. I have no idea what I was thinking of when I casually mentioned that bet/dare. For the first time in my Rye supporting life I'm hoping we don't win, but with our history there I doubt I'll have to pucker up this time.
  9. Pretty clear from earlier weather reports that there was no way this meeting was going ahead. Why waste everyone's time and money by waiting so late before calling it a day? Out of interest, what's with the flag on your avatar?
  10. Some do. Cut off dates for one. Next Saturday is my next day off.
  11. Rye House qualified for the 2007 PL play offs in 4th place at the cut off date, eventually going on to win the trophy. Birmingham went on to finish 4th in the league, Rye House 5th. Can't see any Leicester appeal being upheld.
  12. Not surprised it's off. Raining for most of yesterday and again last night and this morning. Track will be saturated. Does anyone really want to pay to watch something similar to Belle Vue v Poole last Monday? I certainly don't!
  13. Any updates, however biased, are most welcome... I update Rye home meetings (and the away meetings I attend) on my Twitter account. It started as a service for Rye fans who couldn't attend, but now I have followers from all over.
  14. On the contrary Michael.... My point was that Tai, in only his second season in the PL and at only 17 years old, was team riding a lesser rider home for the entire race, not shooting off into the distance and leaving his team mate way behind, especially when a league point was at STAKE.
  15. I am... Hope that clears up any confusion It's my opinion. I'm sure it's still allowed on here
  16. In Tai Woffindens second season with the Rockets he spend a lot of the season paired with Tommy Allen at 3 & 4 where he often sat behind to protect Tommy Two Laps. Cooks a decent rider, his average doesn't lie, but he's not in Tai's class and never will be.
  17. Nothing on either site. I doubt either side would be so foolish as to publish a date for the final before they've even had the replay.
  18. We were standing directly in line with the start/finish. There wasn't one person around us who didn't think that Rusty hasn't got third place. The referee wasn't even in line with the start/finish line. His view is pretty much the same as the still published, ahead of the line. I'd say we had a better view. Does the ref get to see a replay via T2TV, or does he just get one shot at it?
