Yeah, let's have every major meeting at Peterborough. Better still, close down all the other PL tracks and have every meeting there. -

Not the best of meetings, but a spirited performance from a few. Impressed with Blackbird, who's really come on. Pleased to see Steve Boxall & Jason Garrity through. Rider who really caught my eye was Stefan Nielsen. Took a few chances, but deservedly grabbed a reserve berth. I hope Silver took him to one side and offered him a team place. Rides the track well and would certainly entertain. Can't believe the chippy ran out of everything but chips before heat 4. They must've expected a larger than normal attendance. No wipes in the gents under the Tempstand. Tut tut!! -
Stefan Nielsen... Sign him up NOW!!!

What exactly is your agenda? You support Kings Lynn, not even in the same league -

I'd understand a rain off at 3pm with a poor forecast, but to call it off at 9am with no rain around? -

Belle Vue flooded their track with a hosepipe. Can't wait to hear Silvers explanation on Wednesday. As usual he'll say that the detailed weather forecast he pays for said there would be rain and lots of it. Well you're wasting your money old boy. Would've been better off spending it on air fares for Aspgren. Still, one piece of good news has come out of this. Wednesdays British Semi Final programme is now only £2, reduced from the original price of £3. Happy days! -

Looking out of the window half a mile from the track it's cloudy, but bright. Had no rain this morning and there's a little pale blue sky visable. The track must have received a fair soaking yesterday. I wouldn't know as I was one of the handful of unfortunate Rye supporters who made the trip down to Somerset for that horror show. -
Against the likes of Perry, Clegg & Sarjeant, big deal! Elite League? It's really anything but Elite. A couple of world class riders mixed in with journeymen, veterans, second & third rate foreigners, young British prospects and a few NL wobblers.

Don't know why he thinks he's Billy big boll*cks all of a sudden. He's only up against mostly NL wobblers and PL reserves. Fast track is a joke. Giving the impression that all of a sudden they're world beatersHands up who thought Garrity would be challenging for the number one race jacket. At this rate he'll be at reserve.

Just pulled up in the car park. Overcast, but bright enough to be optimistic that the meeting will go ahead as planned.

I'm not familiar with the area. I was just quoting what he said -

A work colleague, who's from Wolverhampton, last went to speedway in the mid 80's. He was telling me of a few incidents involving Cradley fans, most notably some of them attempting to enter the pits to " have a word" with Hans Nielsen after a particularly hard race with Erik Gundersen. I won't repeat what he said about Cradley fans general behaviour during those times, but he did say that Dudley is a particularly rough area of the West Midlands. It only takes a few hotheads to smear the name of a sides supporters. There's a world of difference between enthusiastically supporting your side (Berwick & Redcar fans spring to mind) and getting a bit OTT with the abuse and general hooligan like behaviour.
