  1. Couldn't wish for a better team to face if you need a confidence boost
  2. Yes and no (unless the opposition is my beloved Rye House A one off. You saw how we performed at Somerset a few weeks back
  3. Now Somerset fans know how it feels to be on the end of a spanking. Can the Rockets take advantage of a shell shocked Rebels team tomorrow & Saturday? Can they f**k!!!!
  4. Would be better off checking the fuel when Edinburgh visit
  5. You gave up on Rye House a long while ago Going back to crappy stadiums. Don't see many Monarchs fans complaining about Armadump. I'd take their run down stadium with that team any day.
  6. How many people go to speedway because of the facilities? All I ask is for somewhere to park the car and have a pi$$. Oh, and be close enough to the track to be able to see the action clearly and not have a huge stock car track between the terrace and the action.
  7. Being tenants means you're at the mercy of the landlords. Len Silver paid for the air fence out of his own pocket, without having to go cap in hand to the supporters like most other teams. Perhaps that's why something had to give, notably air fares for Swedish riders.
  8. Makes a change to see Ipswich fans not arguing with each other
  9. One thing I can't stand is skin on battered fish. Was that the same Hawkins who rode like a dog when he was with us? Also, Manzares looked a totally different rider from the one who guested for us v Plymouth in the LC. One blown engine away from a win, that's the way it goes sometimes. It may be a dive, but it's ours.
  10. If the promotor doesn't listen to his riders and prepares a track the way HE wants it, then we're gonna lose more meetings like that.
  11. Result was never in doubt. Racing was better than I thought it'd be. Plymouth really are struggling, with only Barker & Jensen looking decent. A couple of alarming crashes. Thankfully all four riders managed to walk away
  12. Good start for the Bandits. Jensen looking impressive. Tactics are to let Barker go and pick up the points from the remaining Plymouth riders
  13. Was never an all4back, but when you're lucks out....
  14. The Hertfordshire branch of the Bandits Supporters Club (Bandits4Eva) and myself will be joining the holiday traffic and attempting to arrive before heat 1. Weather looks a bit showery. Fingers crossed it's not another wasted journey.
  15. Could've bought one off Jason Bunyans missus before the meeting
  16. Jason Garritys last match at reserve before he moves up. He'll be the key rider. Heat 2 with Ellis should be interesting.
  17. I travelled up to Berwick for a PL meeting 3 or 4 years ago. It had rained a little in the morning and the meeting was quickly called off despite a good forecast for the remainder of the day. Sure enough it was sunshine and blue skies at 7pm, so I drove to the track and looked over the wall. Track looked fine. No coincidence that the Bandits were missing a couple of riders and Rye were in decent form. What comes around......
  18. Heard it second hand that he's battered and bruised, but nothing broken
