A poor show by Edward Kennett and Taylor Poole deciding not to clear the track with the Rockets on a 5-1 cost us a point at least. Made Sheffield look a decent outfit which is something we seem to be doing to a few sides this year. Only Tres, Jason Bunyan and to a lesser extent Jason Garrity can come out of the meeting with any credit. Stefan Nielsen showing us just why he's out injured so often with a crazy dive inside Josh Bates which could've been very nasty. A ridiculously torturous journey up arriving 5 minutes before heat one due to heavy traffic and road works, then various lane closures on the journey home made it a night to forget. What on earth happened to our new "inspirational" captain?

Ipswich are a law unto themselves when it comes to intervals. Last time I was there they announced an interval after heat 11, then changed it suddenly to after heat 8 when Risager was having bike trouble. You can guess what happened once racing resumed.

Don't touch the stuff these days. Healthy eating and all that. Was in the fish & chip game for over 24 years and I know a decent bit of cod when I see it. Add to that the poor quality of the fish from the chip bar (to my eye it looks like frozen breaded) and you can see how the place is slowly going to the dogs. Saying that, all I want is a winning team. I can eat before or after the speedway.Can I just add that the track shop has improved 100% since the new people took over. Can't ever see that happening. The rent for the new promotion would be a huge stumbling block and I assume Silver would still want all the income from the catering. Wouldn't be financially viable.
