  1. Been told it's definitely Rye at Berwick on 2nd August Feel for you Gaz. It's very short notice. Can't understand why they're in such a hurry to re stage
  2. Black & Gold was warm and welcoming. I can never understand those that queued in the rain. It's not as if there'd be a shortage of seats inside
  3. It's Sunday in Glasgow. What d'ya reckon?Come to Newcastle with me!!
  4. A lot of the anti Edinburgh stuff is down to pure jealousy. I remember reading anti Rye House posts on the forum when we had a decent side in the mid 2000's. As for Cook, he does himself no favours whatsoever. I have to question the guys ambition. Haven't seen enough of him to form an opinion of his talent, but if he really wants to be a future GP star he won't achieve that unless he packs up racing in the PL and takes the Polish/Swedish route, pitting himself against the worlds best on a weekly basis.
  5. You're pretty much describing a typical Elite League meeting, apart from the world class rider bit. I watched it at the Grove pub in Berwick after the Rockets meeting was rained off. Just shows that even a fast, well prepared track can produce so so racing. How the hell did Italy qualify? Apart from Covati, they were of NL standard
  6. Poor souls? Daft sods. I received a couple of photos of the track at 6pm. There was no way that was going ahead. I was straight into the Black & Gold in the dry.
  7. Just had a couple of photos through from the track. Looks soaked
  8. Change of plan. Having a roast lunch in Berwick, so no Metro Centre. I'll be having that curry & Chips for me dinner
  9. Glorious this morning, clouding over now, forecast for heavy rain from around 7pm
  10. In Scotland? I wondered why there were men wandering around in skirts
  11. http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/12849/berwick-rye-house-2013-7pm I'm writing us off
  12. Announced numerous times last night as "the smiliest man in British Speedway". I don't s'pose many Tigers fans were smiling at that awful performance on Thursday. As a recent PLRC winner you'd think he'd be able to negotiate the track
  13. I'll be amazed if you don't hit 55. Saw Liam yesterday on the Edinburgh by pass on route to Armadump. Told him he's in for a decent pay day tonight. No Bowen due to a family bereavement, but that won't handicap us. Garrity & Boxall are struggling with engines, Mellgren still feeling his way back in after breaking his back. You've seen Kennett around Shielfield! As for last night, the biggest disappointment was Whethers. After ten years as a Moanarch I'd have expected more. Weather for later is shocking. Looks like another wasted journey up for me
  14. The Bandits had a shocking record at Rye House, similar to that at Armadump, but you seemed to have worked it out in recent years, helped by a shocking decline in the Rockets side. I'm expecting you to win at our place
  15. Nope, I've no interest whatsoever. Have I missed anything?
  16. It's Scotland. It's always raining what's the big surprise?
  17. You should've been there to see it first hand. It was worse than that. There are tribes living in the Amazon that knew the Bandits were gonna be gubbed tonight. It wasn't a massive shock really.
  18. As a neutral I was bored as hell. Most races over after the first bend. Can't work out if it was the home team being too good, or the Bandits being absolute guff. As for massive home wins, I'd take them all day after the season we've had. Some people at Rye used to moan at heavy home wins every week during the glory days of the mid 2000's. I bet they'd take a few of em now. I thought Masters looked for Doolan in heat 4 and was disappointed to hear some home fans cheering when Doolan came off.
  19. Your promoter is gonna have to give out IOU's to the riders after the meeting
