Rockets scored 28 & 26 points on their last couple of visits. What's the odds we'll manage 30. Of course I'll be travelling down for another dose of humiliation

Usually I'm not so keen on midweek evening meetings as I'm working the next day, so no drink, but Thursday is my day off that week!

I struggled from the car park with a two cool boxes packed with food & drink, but it was worth it. How long before the stadium owners cotton on to how much extra revenue they could make if they ban people from taking in their own food & drink?

The meeting is now scheduled for Wednesday 13th August at 7.30pm

Four hours to run the meeting. Thank gawd the weather was decent and I'd brought lots of food & drink. Found myself totally disinterested in the outcome, despite some decent racing once the deadwood had been eliminated. It's not the same when your teams not involved.

What sun? Hardly appeared through the clouds, made even worse by a strong breeze.

An hour and a half later and only 8 heats have been run. This time the delay is electrical problems. Not the first time Peterborough have suffered with this. Bored

The track is too slick... the tannoy on the first bend ain't working... It's too beeezy, my chair falls over every time I get up It'd be cold by the time you got there

I was at Armadump on a Rockets Northern Tour around 2006 when Harrison was Moanarchs captain. The usual rain had fallen and the track was soaked. The meeting went ahead after a track inspection, but Harrison didn't fancy it and was long gone. He has history That's because I was back home in Hoddesdon. Didn't make it past the gate last week

They're warming the bikes up, even though the track is as wet, if not wetter than last week when the meeting was postponed.

Sneddon turned up at the Grove pub in Berwick after last weeks rain off vs Rye House. With Garrity already inside there were a few who thought there'd be trouble, but Garrity emerged from the pub and greeted Sneddon like a long lost friend. No bad blood there then. Same here Paul. Individual meetings just don't do it for me. Can't beat a proper team meeting.
