I agree Liam's struggled, but so was Edberg after his numerous injuries. Perhaps he's got his head on right and learned how to race properly. He'll be returning to Rye House in three weeks, the scene of one of his numerous crashes. Best of luck to him.
Gives the local tarts that hang around the pits after the meeting another target for the weekly "drop the knickers" contest. I suspect Edberg will score more in the back of his van than on the track.
Rockets scored 28 & 26 points on their last couple of visits. What's the odds we'll manage 30. Of course I'll be travelling down for another dose of humiliation
I was at Armadump on a Rockets Northern Tour around 2006 when Harrison was Moanarchs captain. The usual rain had fallen and the track was soaked. The meeting went ahead after a track inspection, but Harrison didn't fancy it and was long gone. He has history
That's because I was back home in Hoddesdon. Didn't make it past the gate last week
If you think Berwick were bad, wait until we pitch up next week. Hope your promoter has deep pockets.Oh, and you can tell the staff in the snack bar on the first bend to cheer up too. Miserable lot
The PL tried it in 2006, but the BSPA changed the rule half way through the season when Steve Boxall (Rye House) & Jon Armstrong (Mildenhall) were cleaning up at reserve. Don't Poland have a similar rule, Poles only at reserve?
Agree with Rockets. Enjoyed the meeting from a different vantage point right underneath the refs box. Some good racing with Luke's double pass being the highlight. Lots of laughter watching the efforts of Calamity Konopka. What on earth Redcar were thinking of bringing this joker over from Poland when there are young British lads looking for a team place? One of the biggest cheers of the night were when he completed four laps without falling. Pathetic effort.
The track held up pretty well considering half was baked in sunshine early on while the other half was in shade.
Like Rockets I too noticed that the team looked more perky tonight, the team changes look to have helped.
