  1. I'll wait until Kus has a season at number 1 in a struggling side and attains a +8 point average
  2. Plenty of throttle jockeys around. Doesn't take a lot of skill to race that track, just a good start.
  3. Are there two riders called Matej Kus? The one I saw last Sunday was crap
  4. Rye House are at Workington tonight. I don't think they'd fancy another trip up if tomorrow's meeting was off. They've already been up for a rain off
  5. Unfortunately not. I'm working and my driver has the weekend off
  6. Jason Bunyan, last weeks match winner for Glasgow, replaced by Aaron Fox.
  7. You're obviously not au fait with the goings on at Rye House. Workington will hit 55 points, no bother.
  8. I still can't believe the Workington riders would ease up, after all, there is points money at stake.
  9. You're asking riders to deliberately not try? You need to look at the opposition to see that.
  10. I suspect some EL snobbery is involved, but mostly it's money, except many are too proud to say they can't afford it and hide behind "wrong race night" and other excuses. If you can't attract people to a superb race track like that then the sport really is down the toilet
  11. I was shocked at how low the crowd was, surely nowhere near enough to sustain speedway at Peterborough. Even more disappointing was the Catweasel lookalike outside the first bend bar who cheered and shouted "w*nker" when Alex Edberg fell in heat 6. Gave him a lecture and embarrassed him in front of his friends.
  12. Panthers can thank the Rockets for knocking the stuffing out of the Bandits on Sunday. They look a beaten side and will capitulate in the playoffs. No fish or chips at the EOS tonight, but they did have £4 burgers & £3.50 sausage baguettes. £3.50 for a toasted cheese sandwich must be one of the biggest rip offs in British Speedway.
  13. Would love to go, but no leave available at work & I've used my "bad back" excuse twice already recently. They won't buy it a third time.
  14. Lots of rain overnight, but clear after mid morning. They'll have plenty of time to sort the track out
  15. Berwick have a side that could make it interesting. I'm looking forward to it
  16. One thing about yesterday's meeting is that it was far more entertaining than Saturdays. 11 passes after the first couple of bends as opposed to one at Berwick.
  17. Rye House scraped into the 2007 play offs thanks to Birmingham not completing their fixtures before the cut off date. Thankfully Sheffield knocked out table toppers Kings Lynn (the Edinburgh of the day) and faced us in the final, where they were duly put to the sword. You never know....
