  1. Rye House have declared Edward Kennett, so that reduces the chance of us signing Danny King. Rye House have never gone into a season top heavy in recent times
  2. You'd certainly notice if that had been removed
  3. Interesting. The lighting needed to be improved and the move back to BH Monday meetings is welcome. Happy to see Edward back and I must admit I'm surprised to see Jason return. I hope he gives the Rockets 100%. I hope that they don't wait too long for Nelson to sort his visa out, otherwise we'll be scrambling around looking for a replacement like last time. A positive start to team building.
  4. A club with a great history, but let down by some of their supporters, who frankly are a disgrace.
  5. Been down to the stadium a few times over the past week, no sign of any of the rumoured development work. All very quiet, too quiet for my liking.
  6. Faster certainly, but most races over by the 3rd bend Sums it up nicely I prefer that description
  7. That's certainly the case with Ross Brady. An 8 point rider before he suffered a terrible head injury. When we signed him I was optomistic, but he had clearly lost his bottle, shutting off half way down the straights. In hindsight I'm ashamed of how he was treated by some Rockets fans.
  8. Back in the mid 80's when I first watched speedway a second tier heat number 1 would be a reserve in the top tier, that's how strong the BL was then.
  9. I think you'll see Olly in the Rockets side next year
  10. In those days a NL heat leader would be a reserve in the BL. Now EL sides are using PL reserves.
  11. Travelled three times to Somerset to see the Rockets score 26, 28 & 20 points. If we'd been there a fourth time I'd have gone again. I guess that makes me a mug too!
  12. Variety of opponents is the main advantage, but I'd like to see a proper local derby. Our nearest opponents are Ipswich, which is hardly local
  13. One of the few genuine fast trackers who've caught the eye Based on a couple of months at reserve.
  14. Looks like big changes at Rye House. I'm sure more will come out in the coming days/weeks
  15. 1: Running2: No 3: Gawd knows 4: No, but stand by for shock news!!
  16. Silver wants more meetings at Rye House, so an NL team could be a possibility. Probably along the lines of Scunny, but with one or two more experienced riders in the side. Very quiet on the Rockets side. We've usually heard something by now
  17. He was talking about it himself for most of the season. I think he'll be off to Glasgow, but Scunny would be a decent option
