Put out of work?

Anders suffered a terrible back injury and looked a shadow of rider he was during his brief stint with the Rockets last year. Really nice guy though, hope he can get back to his best. Pontus had a great season at Somerset and will do well to maintain his average
-
Covatti is a decent signing at reserve, but Neilsen seems to get himself into a lot of bother and is frequently injured
-
Shocking at Rye House too
-
I hope they keep the pub as it is. Every time I've been up there's a function of some kind going on, with women hanging around outside the doors dressed in some ridiculously outfit or another. Never fails to raise a smile. If you've ever seen a tinkers wedding you'll know what I mean
-
Probably because he's not very good
-
I should think Barker alone would be enough to attract more through the gate, plus the new young Aussie. It's vital that the Bandits get off to a good start to keep attendances up. Bandits fans are notoriously fickle when the results go against them
-
Oh crumbs!
-
None of those will average above 3 points
-
Aye, and won 60-34 at Brough on the way to the treble in 2004
-
Bandits were very rarely beaten at home then
-
I'm not a fan of his, wouldn't have him anywhere near my team.
-
Averaged over 7.6 in three visits with Redcar last year. Not bad for someone who doesn't like the Berwick track
-
Had to come home, looks like we may have some movement
-
Brian Havelock will have a tremendous feeling of guilt and loan Summers to Berwick
-
Very much doubt Steen Jensen will show his face at Berwick again
-
You won't be the only ones Mother from Barnsley. He won the 2013 GB U21's, so must have some Brit in him

Riders and managers get an easy ride compared to most other sports, especially football. I don't buy the argument that footballers earn so much more money, so it's ok to give them abuse, I've heard players abused playing at a very low level, on comparative money to speedway riders. Forums like this are a medium to vent frustration. I've fallen out with people (the Rye House promoter being one) because I've had the temerity to portray their favourite riders, or team, in a less than positive light. Silver even went to the local rag to have a pop at me and a few others who'd rightly critisized poor performances on here and on Twitter. Another aspect in which speedway differs from top level football is the way you can interact with the riders. The way that some people attach themselves to a particular rider even though he doesn't race for their side has always baffled me. I suppose discovering speedway comapritively late in my early to mid 20's I've a football mentality, everyone else is the enemy. I probably differ from the majority of speedway supporters in that I'm not a particularly massive speedway fan, I'm a Rye House fan, I want to see them win, not particularly bothered how they do it. Just because you moan about your riders/team doesn't make you any less of a supporter than those who think they're beyond criticism. I've earned the right to critisize, spending thousands of pounds of my hard earned following my team up and down the country.

Seen Pepe Franc mentioned a few times. I thought there was an issue with him riding abroad at weekends?
-
Oh dear. Bandits v Bears meetings will be very tasty
-
The Poles, like the French, pick and choose which EU laws they follow.
-
Common sense will prevail

Brian Havelock. What a guy!!

I agree, looks a poor side on paper. Guarantee it won't bring the fans flooding back, but it is what it is. I can't believe Silver really thinks this side is capable of winning anything. Should bring us a few more home wins this time though, but probably sod all away
