  1. Had to come home, looks like we may have some movement
  2. Brian Havelock will have a tremendous feeling of guilt and loan Summers to Berwick
  3. Very much doubt Steen Jensen will show his face at Berwick again
  4. You won't be the only ones Mother from Barnsley. He won the 2013 GB U21's, so must have some Brit in him
  5. Riders and managers get an easy ride compared to most other sports, especially football. I don't buy the argument that footballers earn so much more money, so it's ok to give them abuse, I've heard players abused playing at a very low level, on comparative money to speedway riders. Forums like this are a medium to vent frustration. I've fallen out with people (the Rye House promoter being one) because I've had the temerity to portray their favourite riders, or team, in a less than positive light. Silver even went to the local rag to have a pop at me and a few others who'd rightly critisized poor performances on here and on Twitter. Another aspect in which speedway differs from top level football is the way you can interact with the riders. The way that some people attach themselves to a particular rider even though he doesn't race for their side has always baffled me. I suppose discovering speedway comapritively late in my early to mid 20's I've a football mentality, everyone else is the enemy. I probably differ from the majority of speedway supporters in that I'm not a particularly massive speedway fan, I'm a Rye House fan, I want to see them win, not particularly bothered how they do it. Just because you moan about your riders/team doesn't make you any less of a supporter than those who think they're beyond criticism. I've earned the right to critisize, spending thousands of pounds of my hard earned following my team up and down the country.
  6. Seen Pepe Franc mentioned a few times. I thought there was an issue with him riding abroad at weekends?
  7. Oh dear. Bandits v Bears meetings will be very tasty
  8. The Poles, like the French, pick and choose which EU laws they follow.
  9. I agree, looks a poor side on paper. Guarantee it won't bring the fans flooding back, but it is what it is. I can't believe Silver really thinks this side is capable of winning anything. Should bring us a few more home wins this time though, but probably sod all away
  10. He was appalling for most of last season, until he had a guest appearance for Glasgow at Workington where he scored paid 17.
  11. Bunyan spent all year getting his average down for 2015. There's a point at least of improvement there. I think most Panthers fans are relieved to still have a team to watch. Would you rather the club had gone to the wall?
  12. There's a lot of negativity on this thread
  13. I reckon I went to more Somerset home meetings that Cliff
  14. It's about 10 miles further to Foxhall by the shortest driving route, but still around 60 odd miles to the EOS
  15. That's women's work. I done my bit 9 months ago
  16. I know, it was the KOC at Sheffield, I was thereWhy are you so defensive?
  17. Kus or Jensen at reserve for 4 of those and Jorgensen (guest) at another.
  18. Stuffed at Rye against a pretty poor side
  19. Isn't his dad connected with Workington? Been told father and son don't get on too well
