  1. Can't believe you trawled through four years of threads to find this. Very very sad
  2. I though Suffolk folk had great eyesight with all those carrots they crunch. How anyone who's viewed the clip can't see Tungate flick his back wheel at Auty is avin a larf!
  3. A stottie cake walk for the Bandits. Rockets will be shell shocked after Fridays meeting at Armdump, but should line up: Kennett RR (Lykke) Mellgren Aspegren Jakobsen Bowen Maassen Mellgren, Aspegren & the reserves are eligible to take the RR rides. Expect respectable scores from Kennett and Jakobsen. Could be anything from Aspegren, depends if he gates. Don't expect much from the others. Bandits by 16-18 points, possibly more. Those of you who print out their scorecards, you can expect Aspegren to take the RR in heat 1
  4. Anyone have the link for BBC West Midlands coverage of this meeting please?
  5. You're always gonna get delays in the National League, given the skill levels of some of the riders. Doesn't help when there's nothing to hold em up on the bends. What would help is less faffing around after a false start. Straight back round to the tapes, or excluded for delaying the start. Simple!!
  6. He won't He looked decent when leading at Rye House last week
  7. It'll be a walk in the park, believe me. Sadly that'll be your lot. Whoever you get in the next round will beat you over 2 legs
  8. Been to Mildenhall twice already this year and the track has been not up to scratch on both occasions
  9. What a fantastic result for the Raiders. Unfortunately I was unable to attend due to family reasons, but looking forward to the NL fixture in August
  10. It's a mystery how Edberg is preferred over Liam. Absolutely baffling
  11. Haven't seen him for weeks. Probably busy with his touring car racing
  12. Read my post from 6.30 this morning re track prep and team changes. Tells you all you need to know
  13. I'm not sure. He may be team manager under the joint promotion of Len & Warren.I've been told it takes two years to obtain a licence
  14. You were hovering above the track? Neat trick that. Unless you mean an ostrich and we know what they're famous for
  15. Do not despair Bandits fans. It'll all be alright next week when the hapless Rockets turn up and hand you the meeting on a plate. Won't help that they'll be shell shocked from the previous evenings ritual slaughter at Edinburgh. It'll be help yourselves next week with only Kennett & Jakobsen putting up any resistance. Expect a score in the mid 50's Are you on drugs? Have the race suits been paid for yet?
  16. You are spot on with King Cinder, well remembered!!The win wasn't a surprise, but to be honest you didn't have much opposition. The Rockets team at the start of the year would've won comfortably. Pleased to say that's not the usual announcer, Craig Saul must be on holiday Because he's stubborn and thinks he knows best and he prepared the Wembley track for a couple of World Finals 40 years ago, so we shouldn't question his judgment. The track had been worked on for most of the week by others, but along comes Len Silver on Saturday and messes it up. I'm not sure what he's trying to achieve. Surely you should ask your riders how they want it set up? I can assure you that it's not like that!! Unfortunately the new owners don't have the necessary promoters licence, so we're stuck with him. I'm led to believe Rob Godfrey may be looking for another track to promote next year. Now that man knows how to prepare a race track and if things don't go to plan he can entertain us with one of his famous sit ins. Gotta feel sorry for Rye House owner Warren Scott. Been royally sold down the river. Ok, we've had some injuries and bad luck. Kasper is a great loss and by the time he returns the season is over. It's all but over now, with only the formality of the second leg of the KOC at Berwick next week for our annual beating. With over six points to use following Steve Boxalls injury we signed someone on a 5 point average who couldn't cut the mustard last time he rode in the UK and looks like he never will. Worse than that, it means that Robin moves from reserve where he was piling up the points and now we have a rusty and clearly out of sorts Luke Bowen paired with him. Genius!! I'm puzzled as to that exclusion of Adam Roynon in heat 2. He clearly impeded the Rockets duo when he locked up, but I've seen that at almost every National League meeting with no action taken
  17. Take over what, the Rockets? He'll need a promoters licence won't he?
  18. Another shocker at the runway. Track a pile of crap again. Riders complaining about it in the bar after the meeting. Shame, good crowd turned up to see that
  19. Instant Twitter updates on @ryehouseupdates for those who can't make it, or a couple of minutes after the heats on Speedway Updates Currently bright with sunny intervals. No rain expected
  20. Fined by the ref & reported to the SCB. Still allowed to race in the meeting?
