He basically let Len Silver run the speedway team, but with so many supporters voicing concern he had to act. That's the way I see it. I certainly couldn't see Len Silver letting two riders go at once, but when someone of Robert Lamberts quality comes along you have to act. Shame we couldn't have fitted him in at the start of the season
It's surely only a matter of time before the co promoters get fed up with it and take it upon themselves to make changes. You don't invest that much money in a project to watch it get flushed down the toilet. The Danny Maassen signing is a prime example. Len Silver was said to have had reservations about the signing. Apart from the KOC meeting at Berwick, he's been mostly woeful. Why wait until his average drops from 5 to 3?
Colin Pratt was in attendance on Saturday. Perhaps he can be persuaded to get the hose out next time?
I lost respect for him (as did many others) after the way he spoke to fans after the Jason Doyle episode a couple of years ago.
Problems all over the place. Changes need to be made now, no messing about. Any other team would've made them weeks ago.
Making Morris look like a world beater is criminal.
Looking at the programme during the interval after heat 10 the writing was on the wall. Couldn't see any way past an Ipswich win from there. Robin going from 2nd to last in heat 13 was a shocker, but reserve scores made the difference. Ashley Morris won it for em in the end
