It's certainly different, but then it always was gonna be with new owners taking over.
Give these new guys time to bed in, then we'll see where we are.
Len Silver can't carry on forever, he's in his mid 80's and I don't think Andrew wants the financial burden of running a speedway team
Lewis Bridger didn't have the dedication that Tai & Robert have. Wasted talent
At the same age Robert is the better rider. Whether he goes on to reach the heights that Tai has is up to him
Could be:
1. Kennett
2. Bowen
3. Jakobsen
4. Lykke
5. Lambert
6. Greenwood
7. Maassen
Could see at least 35 points from the top three, but will the remaining four score enough points to guarantee a win? I'm not sure. I can see heats 2 & 8 being a problem
Yeah, but our next meeting is on the 31st. Danny will still be on an assessed 5.00, unless I've misunderstood the ruling Well, that clears it up. He's had 5 home and 4 away meetings
He basically let Len Silver run the speedway team, but with so many supporters voicing concern he had to act. That's the way I see it. I certainly couldn't see Len Silver letting two riders go at once, but when someone of Robert Lamberts quality comes along you have to act. Shame we couldn't have fitted him in at the start of the season
It's surely only a matter of time before the co promoters get fed up with it and take it upon themselves to make changes. You don't invest that much money in a project to watch it get flushed down the toilet. The Danny Maassen signing is a prime example. Len Silver was said to have had reservations about the signing. Apart from the KOC meeting at Berwick, he's been mostly woeful. Why wait until his average drops from 5 to 3?
Colin Pratt was in attendance on Saturday. Perhaps he can be persuaded to get the hose out next time?
I lost respect for him (as did many others) after the way he spoke to fans after the Jason Doyle episode a couple of years ago.
