  1. After a couple of rides each Ellis looks the stand out rider with Morley not far off
  2. How do you know they weren't invited and turned it down?
  3. I've heard of talking in your sleep, but posting on the internet in your sleep? That's a new one I've said it before. He's either doing a very good impression of an idiot, or he's a full blown loon
  4. Yes, anything to liven up the usually dull atmosphere at Rye I'd encourage
  5. There will be a parade to start with. Don't expect the first heat before 7.15
  6. Rob Branfords always got a bad gate or two in him and he may not have enough to get past the better riders he'll be up against on Saturday. I'm ruling him out for that reason
  7. BWD will be a big miss. Doubt he'd have won it, but certainly in the top five
  8. A very poor example. Atkin is hardly pulling up trees and is surely only racing these days as a hobby and to help bring along the youngsters at Buxton, very much like Jon Armstrong at Stoke.
  9. I'm not denying that. NL racing may not be to some peoples taste, but it's keeping clubs alive
  10. For a team that's just dropped 2 leagues that's the bare minimum you should expect
  11. If Adam Ellis wanted to race in second tier he'd have done so ages ago. He's simply done the maths and worked out he can go out and beat a load of NL wobblers and kids every week and pick up an easy £600 minimum. Why would he want to give that up and halve his earning or less in the Premier League?
  12. These are young lads pumped full of adrenalin and emotionally immature. I'm sure if they had a minute or two to think about it they'd not react in same way.
  13. I hope they reduced the admission fee accordingly (tongue firmly in cheek)
  14. 15 heats completed in 80 minutes at Mildenhall last week (Fen Tigers v Raiders)
  15. Eastbourne have to be successful on the track to please the fans who are used to better days. If it means preparing a dodgy track, then that's all part of the plan.I'm not saying for one minute that the Raiders would've gone through had this not happened. Eastbourne are the better team, no doubt. There's no need to over water the track to help the home team. No need whatsoever
  16. The home team are well within their rights to doctor a track to suit their own riders. It's what any team desperate to win silverware would do.
