Someone told me the trophies were Webbys idea. I think he paid for them The rumour mill was in full flow last night. Lakeside owner insists they'll be running in the Elite League next year, so what does that mean to Kents EL aspirations? Len Silver has been told he's gotta choose between Kent or Rye, he can't run both. Robert Lambert won't be a Rocket next year. His parents seem to be the stumbling block. Just rumours though, so don't take them seriously

Anyone who buys into a speedway team expecting to make money is gonna get their fingers burnt. I'm sure Warren Scott knew the size of the task he was taking on before he signed the paperwork.

While the rest of the NL sides are on a shoestring budget, Eastbourne are flying in a rider from overseas. -
It's been a steep learning curve for the new promoters. Lessons surely have been learned re team building. Maybe someone else will be brought in as team manager should John Sampford not be retained
