  1. Glasgow winning sod all with those three weak links at 2, 6 & 7
  2. A win is a win, but I’m not overly convinced. Positives are Dale Wood who is a definite upgrade on Freddie Hodder. I like his tenacity. Kemp is the top guy, no doubt and I’m presently surprised by Cookie, he looks happier than I’ve seen him for ages. His clashes with Charles Wright were fascinating. I’d love to seen Wright as a Bandit one day. Sam Hagon is a real worry though, especially the way Jake Mulford passed him wish ease on the back straight. He’s nowhere near the rider we saw come up with Poole last season. Another gripe is the track. Used to seeing riders go high and wide on bends three and four and swoop down the home straight, but there seems to be little help there at all.
  3. Anyone is entitled to a bad night. And you wonder why everyone hates Poole. Entitled fu*kers
  4. Well, Bandits made hard work of that one. Bastian Borke needs to stay in Denmark and focus on his fitness. He looked lost out there. But for Drew and Cookie this could’ve been embarrassing. Good to see Dale Wood in the points, a definite upgrade on Hodder. Tough weekend ahead with three meetings in three days. I can see the Bandits getting something from Armadale, but I fear they’ll get found out at home to Redcar on Saturday.
  5. It's never been a summer sport in Berwick. Winter-spring-autumn-winter, no summer up here
  6. How it was when I used to come up on tours in the 2000's. Home riders loved it, away riders generally hated it.
  7. Clearly still feeling his injury. He rode very cautiously and looked uncomfortable at times
  8. It can go one of two ways. If the riders you mention are professional enough they'll perform to their best. If they don't they're out. You don't have to like the team manager, as long as you respect his decisions. It's their choice.
  9. Tough opener for Berwick against a team that’s had plenty of track time. You could see some of the Bandits side were rusty. Cook has had little or no competitive laps. Kildermand just back from injury, but looked sharp. Looked like he may have re injured himself in his last heat. Borke clearly suffering from his previous injury and looking very uncomfortable all night. Hagon looks low on confidence, a shadow of the rider who scored double points with Poole at Berwick last year. Dale Wood can gate, but he looks a bit wobbly. Hopefully he gets used to the track soon. An upgrade on Hodder. Bandits star man was Drew Kemp who looked like he’d max if it wasn’t for a shed chain. Lots of bad luck for the Bandits, otherwise may have sneaked a win. Good to see Craig Cook get a couple of morale boosting wins.
  10. Going by last nights practice, Cook will be at 3 partnering Borke with Kemp at 5
  11. I'd be more bothered about how he performs next weekend.
  12. He was offered a place in the Bandits side, but chose to go for the money, after the Bandits promotion had remained loyal to him in spite of a quite unremarkable season. Let’s hope for his sake his new employers are as patient.
