well he was 4th this year and 8th the year before so i dont think AJ's really in that catagory.

i think lubos should also be given a chance... hes proved tonight hes got what he takes, only losing it in a run off... if the brits would do the qualifier i might agree to put one of them in as a wild card. but i personally think that they think they'll get it handed to them on a plate and i dont think thats the way it should be.

i think jonsson would definitely be picked... hes crashed out of 3 GP's and missed one but is still in contention of being in the top 8.

same here ghost walker... and if it is true that hes coming back to ride in england then it can only help him. He may even qualify yet

personally i wouldnt mind... it would mean it was then the top riders in the world, and that would show that denmark have got some of the hottest prospects atm. not because of your nationality which is why i like these qualifiers. you worked to get where you are

i think dryml could do really well... or flop. When he was in the GP's before he was one of the top boys... injuries and a low confidence kinda played havoc with that. but i think hes getting his confidence back and could be heading to where he was going a couple of years ago

well im finding it a good meeting either way... im not v. patriotic and dont support GB, so its only really one team that arent performing that well.

Really glad theyre doing something for ash, can't believe its almost a year.

from that list the names that jump out are holder, zabik and lindback. with the way holder is racing in britain, and how he can adapt to tracks quite quickly, he is probably my 1st choice, but then the young poles can be very good, especially as they've taken gold 3 years in a row! i'll be cheering for holder though!

wow! brings back memories from when i went last year! especially all the poles on the backstraight! we were going again this year but two kings lynn meetings were re scheduled for the same weekend, so that put a holt on that! good photo's!

i saw in a post earlier that slabon rode in the meeting at tarnow. what happened to him?? he did well in the world under 21 then he went a bit quiet????

totally agree with you. when i go to watch the gp's in cardiff, and the ones we go to in europe, i would rather support a european rider that deserves to be there rather than a brit, because he was seeded and they needed another brit for politics with SKY etc. if a rider is injured, for example, lukas dryml a couple of seasons ago. he was first or second in the standings but got injured for the rest of the season, fine, he had a reason to be in it, but not riders than have rode in the series all the way through but couldnt gather enough points to automatically qualify.

but why do you have to give the wildcard to a brit anyway? i personally dont think that steady or bomber could compete with the likes of crumpy, hans, leigh or greg, to name a few. of course people would like to see another brit but they just aren't up to the standard of GP racing like young swede's, dane's or pole's. i would rather see a european rider in the GP field who deserves to be in it, and not a brit, just because of where he's from.

Hampel made it to the semi's in the last GP, and has made it to the final in a couple this year too. he had a dip in the middle, but how is he underperforming. in all his league scores hes scoring 10-14 points a meeting.
