Don't expect those that end up in any "assistance pot" would hang around for the odd booking, so how would they earn more? Likewise how would 6 man teams reduce doubling up/down unless you capped the number per team. If this was introduced would also reduce earnings potential of some of those who rode in both PL & CL, but no longer able to do so.

Why is Grobauer missing in the first place? He is not one of the German senior pairing (Huckenbeck & Smolinski) in Semi-Final Two of the SON @ Daugavpils on Saturday. Given his poor form, it is "convenient" & advantageous that McDonald can replace the German on Sunday

Well Nowak looked decent amongst some quality riders tonight. When he eventually comes in at Glasgow as a reserve, will be no surprise if he starts scoring heavily from the outset and have up to 7 rides per meeting. It might have been a testing time for the Tigers between Sedgmen leaving & not having Nowak available immediately, but this could be a case of short term pain for long term gain, when the Play Offs start

Well if true, it must be to replace Lawson and at last they've belatedly got rid of someone whose machinery must rank as the poorest prepared in the CL. It will be a blessing not have to endure him regularly being underpowered or failing to complete races because of mechanical issues. There have been amended GSAs issued previously at short notice, so it is a possibility that a revision as suggested by Gambo could still be published by 28th August.

If correct, some heavy duty recalculations need to be expedited if the cut off date for team changes is still 28th August

Perhaps either Rogers or Mason can explain why it appears they still do not have a functioning bowser. Given the feedback from those who attended about extreme dust conditions, how can the Brum Promotion expect to retain, never mind attract additional customers. Were you at the meeting as there were several track grades & some of the home riders & the Manager were directing remedial work @ the entry to the 1st bend. However the Gladiators blew away the Monarchs over the last 3 heats & thoroughly deserved their 10 pt win

If the scenario you described had happened on Sunday only Sedgmen & Bailey could have taken Jensen's rides under irr and you will still have Etheridge there! Under r/r only, you could rejig to have r/r @ no2, with Nicol/Wells/Jensen occupying 3 - 5, this would mean Cook appearing in ht 8 and barring a disaster a guaranteed 3 pts. BTW if Jensen had also been crocked, the reserves could still cover under irr. Re who picked the guest, do you know and would your team manager not have been consulted in such a decision?

TBH your Team Manager (aka "Calamity Clown" ) lost you this match. Instead of trusting messrs Cook, Jensen, Nicol & Wells to cover Ostergaard's programmed rides, in comes a highly dubious choice of guest which spectacularly backfires! Hard to imagine Stewart Dickson would have made such a blunder in a derby match when he was at the helm

I was thinking the same also as it would give Cook a rare outing in ht8 & should guarantee a home 5 - 1. Will your team manager be as astute as you?

Thomson is now no. 4 in the latest GSA & Lawson reverts to no.6 in average. With Worrall &Greaves nursing injuries, & Monarchs unable to now use Thomson to take extra rides from reserve, that doesn't help the cause. We are now back with a weak reserve combination. Looks like Glasgow will be in the right place, at the right time, on Friday and should expect to win.

I believe the 50mile restriction for live streams, does not apply at present, due to the restricted attendance limits because of Covid regulations. In other words anyone can use the online streaming option.
