  1. Mitchell Davey was second halfing @ Armadale on Friday and looked reasonably fast & smooth. Does he second half @ Ashfield also ?
  2. As we all know, viewing angles can be deceptive. Was speaking to two fans who were there on Thursday, re ht13. The first person was on the home straight, and from his view it appeared RW had clipped Lasse when passing up the inside and he thought the exclusion was fair. However the second person was standing high up on the furthermost stand on the second bend looking directly along the back straight. His take was that Lasse had gone wide to try to cut off Cook's blast from the outside, leaving a wide gap on the inside, which RW was coming through in. Lasse then tried to cut back but in doing so, clipped Worrall's back wheel. I was also told that someone who spoke to Richie in the pits after the meeting, that he was upset about Bjerre's plight. Sorry cannot agree. In the case of someone who sends an abusive PM, why should they be shielded from the consequences of being publicly exposed for their moronic actions ? If we were to follow your view, it would be open season for the sickos to send their vile PMs in the knowledge that there would be no comeback for their actions.
  3. Anders Thomsen now rides for Rawicz in Poland, who generally race on Sundays.
  4. TEAMS as per Official website :- EDINBURGH BORDER ROOFING MONARCHS: Stevie Worrall(G), Justin Sedgmen, Kevin Wolbert, Erik Riss, Craig Cook (capt.), Max Clegg, Rob Branford. RYE HOUSE ROCKETS: Eddie Kennett, rider replacement for Kasper Lykke, Anders Mellgren, Robin Aspegren, Nikolai Busk Jakobsen, Luke Bowen, Danny Maassen. Second of three consecutive matches for the Monarchs (third of four consecutive matches for messrs Cook, Branford & Clegg) This will be Robert Brannfords home return from a five week injury lay off. Looking forward to seeing Jakobsen make his Dale debut, as he appears to be the best PL newcomer this year. Also first look at Maassen who has come in for some criticism from some of the Rockets faithful. Current weather forecast for Friday looks optimistic for a change.
  5. So pray tell everyone what was the content of Mr Bellego's conversation with Berge that you refer to above, was it in French or English , or is it a Weegie Fairy Story ? And what exactly is "the Edinburgh agenda" or is it another figment of Possilpark Paranoia
  6. You make the above boast. And when someone calls your bluff, you chicken out of substantiating your claim to "know the truth". All wind and self-importance methinks
  7. Quite a boast, have you the bottle to proceed and enlighten everyone one on here with the "truth" ?
  8. Surely not, after all according to tt, his recovery is coming along "nicely" which would seem to indicate a return to the saddle very soon
  9. Tigers not having much luck with their recent European signings :- Bellego - a late newcomer in 2011 who prefers to move on to Berwick in 2012 Then Anders Thomsen - flees the den last year, reportedly as he was losing money by having to pay his own air fares to & from the UK And now Berge prematurely departs the scene and publicly disputes the statement on the Glasgow website, namely :- "The reason given by the rider was a loss of confidence"
  10. TEAMS as per Official Monarchs website:_ EDINBURGH BORDER ROOFING MONARCHS: Stevie Worrall(G), Justin Sedgmen, Kevin Wolbert, Erik Riss, Craig Cook (capt.), Max Clegg, Liam Carr(G) . REDCAR BEARS: Lasse Bjerre, Jan Graversen, Matej Kus, Jonas B Andersen, Stuart Robson, Ben Morley, Adam Roynon. Expect this encounter to be much closer than the 65 - 28 scoreline in the League encounter with messrs Kus, Robson, & Andersen appearing this time for the Bears, whilst Stevie Worrall transfers his guest allegiances fromthe Bears to the Monarchs this time round.
  11. Was it not a drone sent by his Glasgow Fan Club
  12. There have been instances where the printers have failed to update the information provided and/or erroneously reverted to previous data held on their databases when producing the next programme.
  13. Think it will stay at OTA on Friday prior to Cardiff as it's en route to SGP. Manchester would not be on the journey path for most travelling PL fans.
  14. From the SCB website:- "The Bureau consists of 4 nominated Members, two representing the ACU are Gary Thompson (ACU General Secretary) and Dickie Staff (Member of the ACU Track Racing Committee) whilst Alex Harkess (BSPA Chairman) & Gordon Pairman (BSPA Promoter) represent the British Speedway Promoters Association under the independent Chairmanship of Tony Gillias (a former Rider with Coventry & Scunthorpe)." Hardly one and the same. Stop trying to wriggle out of admitting you made an error
  15. Not a good 24 hours for either Scottish club, with the Tigs losing Morris to injury and Berge packing his bags to return to La Belle France. Reckon it will get worse for Edinburgh for August if Cookie is ok and returns to top of the team GSAs, then r/r for Sam will not compensate adequately. A further downer could be Rob Branford still missing at reserve due to the slow healing of his arm injury. It would appear that lucky white heather is suddenly in short supply in Scotland
  16. Looks like you lot are a bit error prone also - it was the Speedway Control Bureau (SCB) that made this decision, not the BSPA
  17. Could you quote the Official source of the above? There may well be a time limit to lodge a protest (together with fee) but I think it is about 48 hours after the match.
  18. Or you could also say Ref's mistake so why should Somerset suffer for his/her inability to do their job!
  19. Teams as per Official Edinburgh website:- EDINBURGH BORDER ROOFING MONARCHS: Sam Masters, Justin Sedgmen, Kevin Wolbert, Erik Riss, Craig Cook (capt.), Max Clegg, Liam Carr.(G) SHEFFIELD TIGERS: Aaron Summers(G), rider replacement for Ashley Birks, David Bellego, Cameron Heeps(G), Andre Compton, Arthur Sissis, Josh Bates. Appears Rob Branford's arm injury is taking longer to heal than expected and his target return date is now 24th July. With Erik Riss now number 5 in the Green Sheets, Monarchs will now track an all Australian pair and also an all German duo.
  20. No wonder there were so many unsatisfactory starts when the there is no effort made by the Start Marshall to get any of the riders nearer to the tapes. Even Pearson eventually commented that the Official was not doing his job after the nth re-run. Over the past couple of years whenever I've been down to Shielfield, I've noticed this chaos at the start, and tonight, the camera shot directly above the start gate highlighted how much space was afforded to the riders to roll. Time Berwick put someone competent in this job, as the present incumbent is as effective as a chocolate teapot.
  21. A repetitive typo in your posts However, whatever you say Likas :P P.S. Note the smilies
  22. How about spelling Adam Roynon correctly for starters
  23. Based upon league results so far, I would put Somerset ahead of the pack. My own team (Edinburgh) do not have the comparable strength in 5 - 7 that Rebels have, and imo, Kurtz will also continue to increase his average over the rest of the season.
  24. Fricke d.o.b 29.03.1996 Kurtz d.o.b. 27.09.1996 Wouldn't say six months age difference is "much older". But Fricke has won three consecutive Oz U-21 champs, Kurtz nil. Fricke has also score a 15 pt max in the current U-21 Qualifiers. Both are good prospects, but stats suggest Fricke has delivered more than Kurtz so far.
  25. The best team won on the night and if they maintain this level of performance at home, they will not be a soft touch for anyone. I was surprised how good Jonas B Andersen was, and if he can consistently replicate this, the Bears will be on to a winner. Adam Roynon also showed encouraging signs of recovering his pre-injury form. Ben Morley will only improve further, and why some sour faced Bears are calling for his replacement after tonight, defies logic. Looked a decent sized crowd and apart from the local Waldorf & Statler brigade on here, the Bears fans will have gone home happy tonight. Monarchs just have to take this on the chin and learn from this chastening experience.
