  1. Noticed you ignored his away average eh๐Ÿ˜ To remind you it was 2.05 - hardly inspiring for someone who has been riding since 2013!
  2. If you have the early bird discount option, the deadline is 31st December however.
  3. Rather have James who could progress in a 2nd Season, than Coles who has been around for a long time & never made much progress.
  4. Very difficult replacing Killeen with a reserve guest of similar calibre. Choice might be restricted to Starke, Smith, Coles & Hodder.
  5. You must have missed the coming together of Kvech & Fricke entering the 1st bend, which the slow motion confirmed, & led to MF colliding with JK. Seen this happen many times & the refs normally order a re-run with all 4. Should have been all 4 r/r in ht 3 when Rew was strangely adjudged the cause of the stoppage.
  6. You have take into account the GSAs each team were replacing:- Edinburgh : Sedgmen( 8.32) with Dan Thompson(7.28), Thomson( 6.86) with Joe Thompson(5.78) Glasgow : Flint(6.82) with Barker(6.32), Garrad(2.00) with Perry(2.00) Statistically, Edinburgh appear to have lost more potential points than Glasgow, but both sides were both restricted in their guest choices because of availability, & also the 7 day rule, in the case of Edinburgh. Only other options imo for Edinburgh would have been Kerr & Vuolas for the Thompson twins & also Vuolas for Barker for Glasgow.
  7. Noticed Cookie withdrew @ Leicester tonight, apparently with a shoulder injury. If unfit for Saturday, Comets could get Josh Pickering as his GSA of 9.07 would exactly match Craig's with the +5% home meeting enhancement. Would imagine JP would be sensational round there.
  8. Sam Masters is likely to be racing in Poland for Gniezno on Saturday & will Nicholls be at the Latvian SGP also on Saturday as part of the Eurosport commentating team? Let's hope they're both available at Glasgow on Sunday๐Ÿ™„
  9. Already published that it's the Thompson twins for the Monarchs & Barker & Perry for the Tigs.
  10. It's Kemp for Thomson, & Batchelor for Sedgmen, & Starke @ no.7 for Pirates.
  11. Reported Kye Thomson received season ending hand injury in Sweden yesterday, so in addition to JS, will now be seeking 2 guests for Friday. Hopefully given longer notice, they will able to secure suitable replacements, having previously struggled to find suitable substitutes. Hard to envisage anything else than a comfortable win for the Pirates.
  12. If Killeen is unfit for Friday, Oxford should be looking to bring in the two riders at 6 & 7 that the Tigers booted out to accommodate Ivacic, namely Ace Pijper & Paul Starke.
  13. According to the above re Weekly Slot System, the Priority Days for PZM Liga 1 are Saturdays & Sundays. As Rybnik vs Gdansk is a Liga 1 fixture on this Friday, how does it have priority over Redcar vs Poole, given the UK fixture is not a rearranged match? The only possible reasons I can think of are either Poole have agreed to this, or Brennan had a clause in his signing on agreement with Poole that his Polish domestic fixtures would always take priority when there was a fixture clash involving Poole.
  14. Obviously you were greetin that much you missed that both Thomson & Sedgmen beat Chas last night
  15. Only other match today is Berwick vs Plymouth, so "too many Friday clubs" is not a factor/excuse.
  16. Edinburgh had the same problem last season which seemed to affect them more frequently than other clubs. I wonder if there is a specific reason for this?
  17. You should check the facts before coming out with this unsubstantiated waffle. For your enlightment read this:- RIDERS NOTICE: PLACEMENT OF TRANSPONDERS - Speedway Control Bureau. All riders are reminded that Transponders are to be used and it is the responsibility of the rider that they are charged and that they are placed on either the 'H' piece of the forks or in the pouch of the fork cover at the back of the handlebars. Transponders are used by other motorsports and are more accurate than visual observations, including Calamity Brown's defective vision, or Glasgow's overheard drone camera
  18. Looks like some on here are unaware that there are two distinct versions of super heats defined on the official website for the BSN competition, one for meeting drawn matches & another for aggregate drawn 2 legged scores viz. :- SUPER HEAT Format โ€“ The Team Manager, at their discretion may select any two of their seven riders. โ€“ The Super Heat will take place with the following scoring system to determine the winner: 1st 4 points, 2nd 3 points, 3rd 2 points, 4th 0 points. Drawn Matches โ€“ In meetings after heat 15 when the score is level (e.g. 45-45), a Super Heat will be used to determine the winner (winning Super Heat team get 2 league points, losers 1 league point). โ€“ The Super Heat winning team will be reflected as a WD in the league table and the loser as a LD. โ€“ If a meeting is abandoned for any reason after the staging of heat 10, the scores are level and no more heats can take place (e.g. Super Heat), the match will be decided on countback of heat advantages (most 5-1s, most 4-2s etc). Winning team get 2 league points, losers 1 league point. Aggregate Point โ€“ When scores are tied for Aggregate Point then a Super Heat will be staged to determine the winner. โ€“ If the second meeting is a draw and it creates an aggregate draw (eg. 45-45 followed by 45-45) then one Super Heat takes place which counts for not only to decide the meeting winner (2 league points for winner, 1 league point for loser), but also the aggregate point. โ€“ If aggregate scores are level but the second meeting has been abandoned then aggregate point is given on countback of heat advantages (most 5-1s, most 4-2s etc) over the two meetings.
  19. IMO Rowe would be a better option. BTW did they ever contact Bradley Wilson-Dean?
  20. Pity you didn't keep your promise, instead of further spouting your inane, usubstantiated drivel towards Edinburgh
  21. Riss guested for Edinburgh @ Plymouth on 29th August at number one & scored 12 paid 13 from 5, including a 2 paid 3 in a match winning last heat 5 - 1 for the Monarchs. Seemed confident then eh
  22. Here's prog cover of 1st meeting - unfortunately no heat dets.
  23. Think a lot of Monarchs fans are blinded by Castagna's likeable character and ignore that he first rode the UK in 2015 & has hardly progressed. IMO he is at best a journeyman, one line performer (get's a nose bleed trying the outside) & we should be looking to recruit someone with more potential for 2024,
