Where was Richard Hall? Only three riders from the real Sheffield side racing last night, just doesn't seem right calling the side Sheffield and the Management saying they were proud of the side, but that's the rules/speedway. As posted on another thread don't understand when the side are struggling so much in the league (home and away) that we don't use our own asset to boost the side both in points scored and support other members of the team. Sheffield have tried everything else, last throw of the dice for this season? The post from the other thread - I have copied this from the Sheffield Facebook page, Simon has asked a very good question: Why are we not using our own asset Emiliano Sanchez? Always good for 6 points home and away...unlike some...he never let us down, good club man, would be a good influence on Facundo possibly...make him feel a bit more at home with having a fellow countryman to chat with and apparently he's not heard anything since the end of last season though he's ready to race.

He is doing well but unfortunately he is in a team that isn't doing well and the team needs match wins. If he was in a stronger team he would be great to keep as he would have time to improve without any pressure.

Koppe and Knight don't know regarding averages but if possible get Albin and Haines down to reserve or at least one of them.

The expression, dog with a bone comes to mind here, they just don't want to admit that they made some bad team choices. Regarding looking at the options and ruling out riders, even those without a team place, complete madness. As listed on another thread there are riders available, i.e. Nedermark, Tressarieu, Sanchez, North etc all available not heat leaders but point scorers. What about Andre, he would even help bring the fans back in, Koppe or Andre who would you prefer in the team? Just how long do you give Koppe to settle in? I would like to see Andre and Sanchez back, assets and so not expensive for the club and would score points.

Doesn't look like Magnus is going to Glasgow if you read their latest press release on the Glasgow website, they having been contacting everyone and no one can commit to a Sunday track? As mentioned on another thread Nedermark, Sanchez, Tressarrieu, Poole, North,Stichauer, etc just a few names off the top of my head that should be available for a Sunday track. Maybe not head leaders but sign two of these and you have a stronger team. -

With the club waiting for new averages on the assessed riders what are their options now? Maybe go for a rider on a 28 day contract? Try before you sign -
Don't know if they could make it fit but how about Andre and Sanchez that would strengthen the team up a bit Andre is a 5. average and Sanchez a 6. average
-
Yes but Jakobsen and Sanchez would score more points then Koppe, Knight and Haines put together
-
Here are some of the riders that are available: Taylor Poole Dakota North (for a PL place) Jesper B Monberg Matt Tresarrieu Claes Nerdermark Magnus Karlsson/Adam Roynon Ryan Fisher (for a PL place) Josef Franc Emiliano Sanchez Some good riders that would score some good points for some of the teams looking to make a change.

From what I have read it seems that Plymouth fans are assuming that the new signing is Mikkel Bech on a 7 point assessed average.

And why does Neil let him?

Rye House V Sheffield (koc 1st Leg)... 11th May @ 8pm
Harman replied to Shadders's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Team boss David Hoggart was both proud and disappointed by his team’s efforts; “Rye House are a team of track specialists and they’re very good riders, I didn’t think we were awful but they were simply better than us. Beaten by team of 4 plus 1 nl rider??????? how can you be proud? -

Wilkinson - Quickly emerging as real weak link, especially when you consider if we drop him and keep Davey we could bring in an 8 point man, something to consider. Or you could bring in the 2010 redcar rider of the year (yes i know 2010 wasn't the best year) -

What is happening with the two injured riders, Simon and Jason? Uncle Len mentioned a couple of weeks ago he was going to be looking at signing a new rider/s? -
The reason is probably more that Sheffield wont release him, just in case they need him I think Sanchez would go back to Redcar he did well in 2010.

Should have signed Sanchez -
Is Kenny Ingalls in the UK? Sanchez is already here. Sanchez and Ingalls would fit, dropping Garrity down to reserve, what a team Think Newcastle may want Nedermark. Come on Uncle Len get them signed.
-
I though Frampton had retired. Sanchez or Poole good choices, need to use points available and get Garrity at reserve.
-
Good shout especially on a short term contract
-
Yes this is the same Sanchez who scored a 15 point max away at Scunthorpe and won Sheffield the match, so his equipment can't have been that bad. Also so that you are informed Sanchez had two offers of a team place for this season but chose to decline them both for good reasons. Are you going to have a go at Albin for buying used equipment? What the point of your post was I don't know and think your lol pointed at someones lack of sponsorship/money is in bad taste.

Hope Steady has brushed up on his espanol because if not Albin wont understand a word
