Barker & Worrall In Argentina
Harman replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in International World of Speedway
Yes covatti and sanchez have ridden for this promoter for a few years now. I have been to bahia blanca and other parts of Argentina and everyone has been very friendly and helpful and no animosity at all. Barker could have also spoken to Complin he was good friends with him at stoke. -

Well said Bavarian the track at Bahia Blanca is great, better than a lot of the english tracks, pits, facilities and track are of a high standard and they have a safety fence. Barker and Worrall have both raced at tracks a lot worse. As for the accommodation I remember Legault and co causing a bit of damage when they were there and so can't blame the promoter for giving them something basic. Barker and Worrall was saying in the local press on the 22nd dec how good everything was and they were looking forward to racing? This is bad press for argy speedway which they could have done without. On the positve side barker and worrall got a free holiday:) -

Magosi, Kus, Franchetti, Capanese and Castagna himself have all raced in the championship at least twice. -
Edinburgh V Sheffield (pl) 5/9/14 @ 7.30pm
Harman replied to Mr Blobby's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Why was covatti allowed in heat 15 when he hadn't scored a point all night? Thought it had to be top two scorers or it went to the reserves? -
Did Sanchez ride in that championship?

No updates? -
Sanchez's problem is transport not having a week day job????
-
Pity it's not a crazy argy on standby
-
Shame about Kozza after all the seasons he has raced here with no problems, a good man to have in your team both on and off the track. Who are Redcars options now or will they start the season with R/R?
-
Albin doing well but it is an easier championship this year, previous winners not taking part i.e. Magosi and Sanchez and not any international riders except Bonderenko like previous years i.e. Kus, Gomolski, Rymel, Compton etc.
-
How about Sanchez, a proven premier league rider, good second string can score well home and away, no problem for him racing on a Sunday, got to be a better option than Bager. Also would leave points for a good reserve
-
Had a quick look and some options are Lemon, Klindt, Kling, Nedermark, Sanchez and Poole. Also Birks but think may go back to Scunny.
-
Don't think the deal is done with Albin yet the club were asking for help with accommodation, workshop for him and then I suppose he would need a van and a mechanic who would hopefully be able to speak Spanish:) There may be easier options that the club are looking at.
-
Peterborough now in the premier league, good chance Bager will go there.
-
Brilliant news, only been to Peterborough once before but looking forward to going again, will they get any of the shared events? Didn't the premier league fours used to be raced at Peterborough?
-
That's great thank you I also assume that there are also the riders that didn't race in the UK last season for whatever reason to consider in addition to this final average list.
-
Which riders on a 6 - 6.5 average are still available? Is there a list you can view anywhere i.e. is there a BSPA average list for all riders?
-
I think Eric Boocock had a lot to do with that team
-
Don't count your chickens, look what happened to Newport they signed a full team and still didn't run.
-
Where did you see this, is there a link?
-
He had a couple of offers this year but they didn't work out for one reason or another, not injured and not retired yet:)
-
When Hull closed Sheffield bought their rider assets from the BSPA
-
Don't think it will be Hall or Sanchez, looks like Richard has posted on Sheffield Facebook page that he is selling some of his equipment.
