  1. Must admit I was well impressed with the Geordie fans honesty when discussing incidents during the meeting. Real common sense speedway fans. The comments on here further justify that..lol
  2. Richie layed it down way too easily when Alex Davies beat him from the start. The boy has talent but he needs to do a little more than trap and make it to the first bend first to score points. Was definitely an exclusion not all four back.
  3. Any local weather updates for this meeting would be very much appreciated. Looking at heading North East in a couple of hours and its raining heavily in the Midlands. Three futile trips (including two to Redcar) in just over a week would not be good.
  4. It was reported back to the pits. , the information is accurate. I have a detailed desrcription of what happened, I won't bore everyone with that because the sad fact is, no rider should have to put up with crap like that, after falling during a race where they were "just racing" not knocking anyone else off or dangerous riding, purely racing. It is not something I would make up, got better things to do than that.....but I can't understand your protection of someone who is clearly following speedway for the wrong reasons.
  5. Weather not looking good for this weekends playoff fixtures either...Houston we have a problem!
  6. What has that got to do with anything? A fan abused him after he fell whilst providing entertainment...Plonker.
  7. Sorry for my generalisation, of course the majority of speedway fans everywhere are decent, but it only takes a couple of idiots. I do enjoy my visits to Rye House, but rightly or wrongly its the minority that leave the sour taste in the mouth.
  8. Shadders you seem to have short term memory loss, a couple of days ago you appeared to be the font of all knowledge, I quote "Morris was no angel after that crash. Dunno who your reliable informant is, but he's not telling you the full story" ... Make your mind up mate??????...and just for the record my reliable informant is Nick Morris, he doesn't take fools lightly...thank god he doesn't go to Rye House often... .
  9. Beats the hell out of abusing riders that fall off, which you seem to condone. Not a very sporting lot are you?
  10. Lets here the full story then?. He responded to a fan who insulted him after he had crashed, how can that not be justified? Why insult someone for falling in the first place? My source is very reliable, and two reports of bad sportsmanship from a Rye House following of a couple hundred isn't exactly good statistics.
  11. I'm glad you have pointed this out, because I am reliably informed that Nick Morris was abused by a fan after he had fallen on turn 3/4 when dicing with Tyson Nelson. When confronted by Morris in front of other fans the gutless wonder denied saying anything. ...Disgusting.
  12. That's amazing, if it hadn't of been for the strong Somerset support today the crowd would have been absolutely woeful.
  13. Must admit i'm surprised that they are going to go into a cup final minus two influential team members, bit risky I think but maybe there is no choice / spare dates.
  14. I haven't seen any fixture updates but wouldn't think Somerset would run without Nick and Alex? Unless they have no other options.
  15. I'm sure the Poles will be favourites for this, but all the teams should be fairly competitive, looking forward to seeing how it pans out.
  16. Totally awesome display by an in form team. A very different scoreline from the sky covered meeting a few months back, and the two previous cup ties seem a distant past. Can't help counting my chickens here. Rebels v Rockets final it is then.
  17. Whatever groups are decided, some travelling to do for Somerset connections. Ipswich must be about the closest and that's a big trip.
  18. I may be totally blind and missed another thread, but I honestly haven't seen a thing about this meeting. Should be a good one Sheffeld having Worrall in for Stead and all the Tigers able to have a rr ride for Royno. Somerset looking quite powerful, and with the big guns firing should do well at Owlerton. Just hope the weather doesn't ruin the party.
  19. Been once before and gave up on the programme, didn't have a clue what was going on but still had a great time (the cheap beer helped). The Under 21 WTC could be a highlight this year....especially if the Aussie boys can pull it out of the bag...going to be tough!
  20. Three meetings in three days, including the Under 21 WTC right in the middle. Should be a great few days of racing. Any information on lineups, start times, good drinking and eating establishments, etc, etc etc. Looking forward to this one.
  21. I agree 100%, the scoreline doesn't reflect the fact that the Bandits were right in this for quite a while. the track was very slick, due to the non watering, totally understandable under the circumstances (very real threat of rain). Alden was a bit of an enigma, very fast in his first two but generally quite ineffective in other rides. I honestly thought Berwick had a chance of winning this after a handful of heats, infact without the efforts of Wright it could have been very very close.
  22. Good news, can't afford any bad breaks with the weather, especially with a KO Cup replay. Cya there mate.
  23. This joker is 100% proof that if you give someone without a brain a little bit of gossip, they become dangerous.
